December 3rd - Friday
Theo P.O.V.
I look away from the road to look at Liam who is busy looking through the magazine he bought. Liam shifts position next to me, opening his backpack and taking out a pen.
"What are you doing?" I ask curiously.
"Here's a list of things to do before I turn thirty and I'm going to tick off the things I've already done. In fact, I'll tick it to you too."
Liam takes about two minutes to tick off all the things he had already done, with a blue pen, and then turns to me.
"Have you ever traveled to another country?" He asks now with a green pen in his hand.
"No." I respond, rolling my eyes, I'm sure I haven't done even half of the things on the list. "You have?"
"Only once, I spent a week with my parents in England. Have you ever had a tattoo?"
"No."
"Have you ever done skydiving?"
"No."
I park the car in front of Liam's house, s natch the magazine from his hands and start reading the list.

"The only things I did on this list were sleeping under the stars and learning a new language." I toss the magazine to Liam.
"Didn't you do anything else?"
"No. If you don't remember, I spent more than half my life living with three psychopaths."
"Sorry. Didn't mean to..."
"It's okay, let's go." I get out of the truck and pick up the groceries, waiting for Liam to open the door.
We entered, Liam still staring at the magazine.
"We should complete the list."
"What?" I set the bag of food down on the kitchen table and look at Liam with a wrinkled nose.
"We should complete the list together, it will be fun. And you really have to do some of these things."
"Maybe." I head to my room and Liam follows me.
