I cried writing this. Enjoy.

Liam P.O.V.
Theo sleeps peacefully on my chest, his face is still a little damp from the tears and his hair is a little sweaty, I continue to play with it anyways.
Being like this with Theo doesn't feel weird.
One time, when I went to sleep at Mason's house, we woke up with Mason's head on my shoulder and I remember he pushed me out of bed the next second. We laughed about the event and never spoke about it again.
With Theo it's different, it seems right. Maybe because we are each other's anchors, anything feels right when we are together. When I met Theo I never imagined that we would become friends, I never imagined that he would become so important to me.
Theo has healed me, I feel less angry, I can sleep better and I no longer feel constant fear.
Theo is the light in the darkness.
When the rays of sunlight begin to filter through the curtains, I'm still awake protecting Theo's sleep.
Theo moves on my chest and I feel him starting to wake up. His green eyes blink towards me and I feel like smiling when I see his sleepy expression.
"Good morning." I take the hair out of his eyes. "Did you sleep well?"
"Yes."
I feel my body warming up from head to toe. That voice.
What is happening to me?
I get out of bed, immediately missing Theo's warmth.
"We have to get ready."
Theo gets up lazily from the bed and I laugh when he trips on the rug. Theo doesn't look very happy so he picks up Flash and throws him towards me, hitting me in the face.
"Don't hurt Flash!"
Theo is silent while we eat breakfast and during the journey to school. His feelings are a mystery to me since Theo is too good at manipulating his smell and heartbeat.
I sit next to Mason in biology class in silence. Mason looks at me with raised eyebrows and I look at him thinking about how to start talking.
"Is it weird to sleep hugging with a friend?" My choice of words makes Mason choke with the air.
"You slept hugging with Theo?"
"I never mentioned Theo's name."
"But it's obvious it's him." Mason moves his chair closer to mine. "I always knew."
"You always knew what?" I ask confused.
"That you like Theo."
"Of course I like Theo, he's one of my best friends."
"Not like that, dumbass. You like like him."
"What? No!" I widen my eyes and Mason smiles.
"Yes you do."
"No I don't."
"But he's your anchor." I feel my cheeks burn and try to hide it miserably.
"Yes, but anchors aren't always romantic."
"In this case are."
Mason's idea is completely ridiculous. It's obvious that I like Theo. But not in that way.
