Rimuru POV:

After some time, I woke up. "Maybe I was a bit too cocky before," I mused, feeling the weight of my overconfidence as I slowly came to terms with the aftermath of the battle. My body ached, and my mind replayed the events, a mix of pride and regret settling in.

"Good morning, Master," a voice greeted me. "How long have I been out, and where am I?"

"Rimuru, you were out for 10 hours. After the fight, the Fairy King tried to heal you with the Droplet of Life, but your body didn't heal completely. This made him panic, so he brought you to the heart of the forest where you are most likely to recover. I estimate that Gloxinia will arrive any moment."

I started sitting up, and at that moment, I saw two happy fairies flying my way. "I expected Gloxinia to come, but Gerheade is a surprise," I thought.

"Rise and shine, sleeping beauty," Gloxinia said with a little laugh.

"Thank you for getting me here after the fight," I said.

"Yeah, passing out like that was really a shock," he commented.

"I did win the fight in the end," I smiled proudly.

"We were worried about you when you didn't wake up after we healed you," Gerheade scolded me.

"Sorry for making you worry," I said, my voice tinged with genuine remorse. I looked down, my cheeks warming with embarrassment. "I should have communicated better before pushing myself so hard."

They both looked flabbergasted. I didn't understand at first, but then it hit me. "Master needs to be more careful with her words," I thought. "I definitely deserve that one," I realized.

"So you knew it would happen before it did," Gloxinia said.

"I had a feeling. Thanks for trusting me, though. That reminds me, I need to give you something. Here is your reward for winning the fight." He gave me a golden seed with wings on it.

I looked at it and thought it had a pretty awesome design for a seed. "So, what exactly do I do with this seed?" I asked, intrigued.

Gloxinia's eyes sparkled with a mix of pride and seriousness. "The Royal Seed is a rare and sacred gift. It represents not just a mark of respect but also a commitment to protect the fairy realm. When you nurture it, you're essentially preparing to embrace a role of great responsibility and power."

"You need to put magic into it, and a fruit will come to life. You need to eat the fruit, and with that, the fairy seed will be planted in you. Your fairy form will sprout within you as time passes. Your fairy form will become available once you imbibe the fruit from the seed. However, it's not fully realized until much later. Initially, you'll gain only a subtle fairy aura, a mere whisper of what's to come. The true power and form will unfold as you grow into your new role. And with the change comes the inevitable pain I talked about before. Oh, and you still need to keep the golden seed safe. If you're lucky, it will become a fairy familiar of some sort," Gloxinia explained.

"I'm grateful for all the things you've done for me. If there's anything I can do for you two, just ask, and I'll do my best to return the favor," I told them both.

"Well, there is one thing you can do," Gerheade said with apprehension in her voice. "There are two demons around the forest staking out for someone. Can you make them go away?" she asked.

"Ciel, do you think it was about before?" I asked.

"The chance of Master being their target is 89.3%," Ciel replied.

I sighed and spoke up, "They're probably looking for me anyway, so I'm going to deal with them sooner rather than later. There's a chance I will be popping up here in the forest in the next 24 hours. If that's okay, I'll just make sure they go away without any further trouble for you guys."
