Kiara and Amelia rushed near the crowd of people where some of them were recording the accident whereas others were busy talking about how the accident took place.

What's wrong with people in this generation? Is there any humanity left among the people?

Nobody was concerned if anyone was hurt or not. All they cared about was when they would post the video on their social media and gain views in their benefit.

"What happened?" Kiara asked the woman who was standing beside them, recording it all.

"The car exploded out of nowhere. No one knows how. Nobody was hurt though. Thank God!" She said as she kept on recording without casting a glance at Kiara.

Kiara nodded her head and turned to Amelia, "Let's leave for home. I don't think we should stay here now."

Amelia agreed, since she was kinda startled with everything that happened. She was feeling a little overwhelmed with all the things she told Kiara.

She never talked about him with anyone, even Siddarth was unaware about him.

It's not that she hadn't told him anything about him, just that she has dated a guy before him. She didn't explain how deep her relationship with him was and to what extent they went.

How do you move on from the person you love?

Do you just pretend that you don't know them? Like they weren't the most important person in your life once and ignore their mere existence?

Because that's what Amelia did and that's what Kiara was trying to do.

The whole ride back to the house was surrounded by silence. They both were stunned by the accident and overwhelmed with the emotions they expressed in front of each other.

"See you tomorrow." Amelia stepped forward and wrapped her arms around Kiara.

Kiara sighed and hugged her back.

"Are you okay?" Kiara questioned. Amelia smiled and nodded her head in yes.

They both had become an integral part of each other's life. The fate and trust they had invested upon each other was very delicate.

Kiara laid awake on the bed as she stared at the ceiling. She was reminiscing all the time she had spent with Siddarth before they went their separate ways.

She badly wanted to go back in time, where she used to admire him secretly as they both walked together to their class in school.

She could still sense his perfume in her mind as she reminisced the vivid day when her heart bloomed with love for Siddarth.

"I told you to do my homework, didn't I? Why didn't you?" The guy pushed Kiara, she wobbled backwards and fell hard on the floor.

Everybody stood at the school gate as they witnessed the scene in front of their eyes but nobody dared to complain against the school's richest student in case of ragging.

Sure ragging wasn't allowed in their school.

"Tell me, why didn't you?!" His voice pierced Kiara's ears, she winced as close her eyes in fear.

"Because she didn't have to!" A familiar voice yelled amongst the crowd.

A muscular guy stepped ahead of everyone in the crowd and glared at Raghav.

Kiara dared to glance in his direction reluctantly as he came forward to help her get off the floor. It was none other than Siddarth. Her childhood friend and the son of her father's best friend.
