"Darling?"
I whispered while drawing small circles on his hand.
"Hmm?"
I looked up at him.
"Will we lose this after tonight? What if we lose our bond? The humour that we share?"
I mumbled, looking into Siddharth's beautiful yet warm eyes.
He let out a soft laugh and embraced my hands in his.
"We will never lose each other. I promise. Even though we're going to be miles apart, we will stay in touch and text or call each other every once in a while, yes?"
I looked down at their intertwined hands, which fit perfectly, like they were made for each other.
"Yes. Yes, we will not lose touch, and if you ever forget about me, I'll beat the shit outta you."
I stated.
He looked at me weirdly, and then at our intertwined hands.
"With this small hand? Wouldn't harm me at all," he beckoned towards my hands and said.
I gasped and slapped his chest.
"Fuck you."
"When babygirl?"
He smirked pathetically and pulled me closer to him.
I cringed and pushed him off, making a disgusting face, though my heart was pounding.
He just kept on laughing at me and wrapped his arms around me.
Despite being annoyed by him, I can't stay away from him.
It's just that my heart goes swooning every time his skin comes into contact with mine.
"Darling, I love you."
"I love you too, Kiara."
Though i knew his "I love you" didn't hold the same meaning as mine.
Today, it's been five years. Five years in which I only saw Siddhart seven or eight times. We didn't lose our connection either until last year. He just abruptly stopped talking to me .
I don't know what happened or if I did something wrong. Even when I messaged him, asking if he was alright, I was left on seen. So I never bothered to message again.
Now I was just hoping that he wouldn't ignore me in real life.
