"Nathan we have to take her to the hospital!" Amelia told Nathan as she panicked and he stay still in shock.
She was lying lifeless infront of him, drown in her own blood.
"Nathan! Are you even listening to me?!" Amelia shook his body and bought him back to his senses.
"Huh yea yea." He muttered and quickly kneeled beside Kiara. He removed his shirt and wrapped it around her head in an attempt to stop the flow of the blood.
"Ask someone for a lift! Quick!" Nathan told Amelia as he picked Kiara in his arms and stood at the end of the path.
Amelia tried to stop many passing by cars. None of them stopped though.
"None of them are helping! What should we do now?"
"Call someone! Call Siddharth! Call Mrs. Mehra! She must be home! Call her! Call someone fast Amelia!" Nathan stared at the blood soaked shirt wrapped around her head, blood was dripping from the shirt.
"Yea yea." Amelia stuttered and ringed Siddharth. Amelia pressed the call button with shaky hands and put it on speaker and waited impatiently as the ring went on dialing.
"Amelia where have you been sweetheart? I have been searching for you since so long! I even called Kiara, she said you are not with her. Where are you baby?!"
"Siddharth, Siddharth, listen to me," Amelia said with a hoarse throat. Her throat was aching for some relief.
Siddharth sensed the uneasiness in her voice.
"Darling, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" Siddharth asked, panicking and running through his veins as a thought crossed his mind that his Amelia might be hurt.
"Em, darling, are you hurt? Did somebody do something to you? Where are you, Jaan?"
"Sid can you come to the park near our house? Please come fast. It's life or death. Please come fast!"
Amelia's words scared the shit out of Siddharth. Sweat rolled off his forehead.
What does she mean by life or death? Is someone hurt badly? Siddharth wondered. His heart was pounding in his chest.
"Amelia, please tell me, are you hurt? You're okay, right? What do you mean by life or death, baby? Is somebody hurt?!"
"You dumbass, stop asking those fucking questions and come fast! Or we might lose Kiara! We need to take her to the hospital! She had an accident and is hurt very badly! Her head is bleeding like crazy! Is that enough information for you to come over, or should I run to the hospital?!" Nathan yelled on the call. He was getting impatient with Siddharth asking so many questions and Amelia answering them slowly rather than coming to the point of pain.
"What the hell? What happened?-" But before Siddharth could ask another question, Nathan interrupted him.
"God Siddharth! Shut the hell up and get your ass here soon! I can't have her dying in my arms!" Nathan yelled at him.
"Okay. Okay. I'm coming. You are at the park on the left road, right?"
"Yes." Amelia replied, and Siddharth hung up on them.
“Siddharth, where are you going so late?!” Mrs. Singh asked him as he got off the living room couch in a hurry and ran to get his keys.
“Maa Kiara had an accident! We need to take her to the hospital as soon as possible! I'll call you when we reach the hospital and everything is under control.” Siddharth explained in a hurry and ran out of the house.
“What? Siddharth! Siddharth!” Mrs. Singh ran behind him and kept on calling but he was long gone in his car.
“What happened? Oh God, I hope my child is okay.” Mrs. Singh prayed and dialled Kiara's mother's number.
