It was now the morning/evening, and you still hadn't gotten any sort of sleep.

after being attacked by the dragon hunters, you had looted the ship and came back with Mossguard to put everything inside the cave before going out to patrol the islands once again.

But then it started to rain heavily, and even thunder came down on the island of vanaheim.

This compelled the dragons to take cover for the day.

Most of the sentinels would be in their own little parts to Vanaheim and protecting some parts of the island that they usually manned either way.

You and Mossguard usually made sure the Night Terrors and Terrible Terrors were kept in line on days like these.

You haven't seen those dragons in a couple days now, though, so if left you and Mossguard to do whatever you wanted for now.

"Mossguard, you're gonna get all wet and then you aren't gonna like it." You said, looking to the boulder class dragon.

He was testing to see if the rain would get all his 'scales' wet if he put his wing outside the entrance of the cave for a split second, and he was starting to test it out and get a little bit more confident in it too.

Mossguard roared at you in annoyance before growling a little, head tilting from side to side without any sort of problem.

You grabbed a map for yourself, the one you took from the dragon hunters earlier and nd rolled it out gently onto a small table that you had on one end of the cave to make your life easier.

Rolling it out on the floor would have to mean that you'd have to fix your position and everything, and you didn't want to do that at all.

Mossguard had stopped it with the rainwater and seeing if he'd get all wet because of it if he wasn't fast enough, and he walked over.

His eyes squinted a little as he touched the floor a little and shifted on his claws to figure out exactly where you were just so that he wouldn't end up making a wrong move and accidentally crush you.

If he did, he'd probably laugh either way and then regret it later on, since he could be a little bit rude sometimes when it came to your well-being.

He always felt bad later.

You put your hands on your hips as you began to look over the map to see what exactly was on it.

It was the dragon hunters map so it would definitely show you something interesting.

Mossguard didn't bait her trying to look with his extremely poor vision, and was munching on some Vanaheim fruits, making small messes here and there due to how juicy the fruit that grew on Vanaheim actually was.

Mainly because nothing had been tampered with for years, other than the occasional wildfire started by the dragons or a simple drought that resulted in one.

There were multiple islands and a legend in the top corner of it.

Mossguard roared a little as he audibly crunches on the fruit.

"Huh. Red means already attacked islands and the yellow ones mean that they're going to attack the marked islands." You shrugged, looking at the map as you completely ignored what the medium sized dragon was actually going.

The red ones that were marked seemingly were the ones mainly on the east side of the archipelago, so it could be entailed that the dragon hunters base was on the east or the south side of the archipelago.

Probably just on the outskirts.

One of the red marked areas were the Outcasts, Berserker island, and even more.

A lot more.

You then looked around at the map, before looking at where Vanaheim was marked.

In yellow.

Your eyes widened a little bit as you stared at the yellow markings and the title of 'Vanaheim'.

The dragon hunters knew where Vanaheim was and were planning to attack the island to retrieve who-knows-what.

Or simply just for fun.

"Mossguard? Has there ever been people on Vanaheim who lived on the island and made it out alive? Before me?" You asked, looking back at the young dragon.

You assumed Mossguard would know, or at least have heard something from the other six sentinels.

Mossguard roared a little bit as he turned to 'look' at you.

His clouded eyes were actually a rather nice sight, as it was extremely pretty to look at.

Mossguard nodded a little, roaring in a carefree way.

You quickly rolled up the map.

You didn't want to warn Mossguard to keep him tense or anything, so you put it past you along with the newfound knowledge you managed to obtain from him.

You couldn't understand the roars since you didn't exactly speak dragon, so you didn't try to understand it and push the topic.

"I wonder what the rain is gonna stop." You said.

You discarded the map and set it down into the nearby corner you had picked it up from, crossing your arms as you looked back at the dragon.

Mossguard roared and almost shrugged his wings as he flapped them around a little, turning back to the Vanaheim fruit to eat as you grabbed some mutton for yourself and took a bite.

You were about to actually eat it until you heard small roars and the sound of small yet rushed wing beats.

1 night terror and 2 terrible terrors had just flown into the cave, roaring a little.

"I wonder where you guys have been." You said, lifting an eyebrow a little before crossing your arms without any sort of concern.

The terrible terror ran over to your unfinished mutton and threw it over to the other two smaller dragons.

Mossguard growled a little bit as he sensed and heard the new dragons presence.

"Just leave it be. They'll leave when outside is dry enough for them." You sighed, eyes going into a laze.
