It had now been a few hours since the dragon riders had first got here. You weren't opposed to the help at regaining Vanaheim's 'safe' status for the elderly dragons, but you'd be opposed at the idea of being forced to live and go back to berk.
It would seem different, and you refused to leave the rest of the sentinels and Mossguard behind on vanaheim.
If you were to bring Mossguard it'd be stripping him of the job that he naturally did, and since you basically grew up surrounded by this type of line of 'work', you'd be abandoning your job too.
You felt obligated to help since the sentinels had spared you all those years ago and raised you on vanaheim.
Now, all 7 of you were near a small patch in the grass and sat down while the dragons simply played around or watched.
Mossguard was with Meatlug rolling rocks over a little and dislodging them from the ground for her to eat. Hookfang was with the male sentinels and was acting as some type of heater, as he seemed to be igniting himself. Stormfly was happily running around with the female sentinels. Barf and Belch were with Toothless, playing around and roaring at each other happily. The male sentinels were running around with each other.
It overall seemed to be a fine day.
You and the dragon riders were trying to come up with a plan on how you were going to get them, the fliers, out of Vanaheim and out of your life for the most part.
"I say we just go in there, our dragons blast them and we end this!" Snotlout said, throwing his arms in the air in irritation. "We can't stay stuck here forever!"
"We're gonna get someone killed if we do that, Muttonhead." Astrid said, knocking snotlout on the back of the head.
"It could work, depending on how many fliers there are. Overall? Yeah no." You said, crossing your arms as you leaned weight onto one of your legs entirely.
"We're not trying that against Krogan and his fliers." Hiccup stated, as Toothless came over to sit down beside him, roaring at the map as he was handing something hiccup was holding previously for him to bite on.
"They're gonna come in eventually. What if we sacrifice tuff-" Ruffnut got cut off.
"Yeah! Sacrifice me!" Tuffnut encouraged, giving a small fist pump in the air excitedly.
Everyone in the current area who was human have them a weird look, even toothless who had read the room.
"We could always try creation or trying to find a second exit or something?" Fishlegs suggested, pointing to hollow bone within the bewilderbeast skeleton.
"The night terrors who aren't elderly like to nest here. Can't." You shut the idea down, eyes squinting. "But we could use the sentinels' wing gusts."
"Great! We don't need two dragon-fanatics!" Snotlout complained.
"I wouldn't mind to annoy you into leaving the edge." Astrid grumbled, rolling her eyes.
You looked up, noticing a small rock drop from the 'roof' of the area, and a few of the sentinels seemed to have noticed.
One of the females roared, a younger male side stepping to be closer to the sound of her roar.
"I'd bet a nice chunk of gold we don't have time to decide." You said, meatlug coming up beside you to sniff you out.
"I'd bet 2 chunks. Beat that!" Tuffnut snickered, proud of himself.
Hookfang used his tail to knock both Tuffnut and ruffnut off their feet.
"Control your dragon!" Tuffnut cried out dramatically. The two almost immediately getting up.
Too late.
Singetails could be heard roaring upon roaring outside, along with fliers shouting at each other as rocks began to become displaced from what was probably fire on the more hollow areas to the bones.
"Everyone out!" You warned, looking to your brother immediately to make sure that he was alright before looking to Mossguard who was waiting for you to come over.
"Come on!" Hiccup told the riders as they all got on their dragons to fly outside of the cage instead of simply going bare for the time being.
You got onto Mossguard, before whistling to get the other sentinels up and flying outside.
Mossguard shrieked, smelling the air for a brief moment before getting up to fly, being able
To smell the fresh air along with the dragons that were fleeing.Fishlegs, your brother, was already on Meatlug and flying out of the cave, and you had your eyes on him the entire time.
You had just reunited with your younger brother, and you were not about to lose him to some random conflict happening in vanaheim that most likely could've been avoided entirely in another universe or something.
As soon as you and the riders were out, the six other sentinels flew out to finalize everyone else's safety.
"Found you, Hiccup." The riders on the large and red singetail said.
Krogan? You remembered someone telling you his name was Krogan.
"Take this off of Vanaheim, Krogan!" Hiccup shouted back, Toothless roaring a little as his head tilted from side to side.
You assumed he's attempted to reason with Krogan a few times.
So in your eyes, there was no way he was trying to do it again after learning his lessons other times?
"Maybe next time, Hiccup." Krogan said, before pointing to the riders you were with.
The singetails began blasting.
"Incoming!" Snotlout screamed, somewhat sounding like a girl, as your new friends began to fly in different directions to avoid getting hit.
Your eyes widened, before patting Mossguard's back, mossguard roaring in alarm and diving almost immediately to avoid the singetail blasts, the four female sentinels and the 2 males moving out of the way too.
"This is not gonna go well!" You said, mossguard roaring in agreement as he steadied himself out while he flew, you looking back for him since he was blind and there would be no reason.
