Part 8

Jax is missing.

Jeff talked to some of PJ's friends all but Jax, his parents said they haven't seen him in three days, they asked Jeff if he could look for him, they'll pay him, he told them no need for that, Pie told him he could be with PJ. I said I hope not we don't know what state of mind PJ's in, I went out back and Chandler is sitting there looking sad, I asked him has he heard anything from any of PJ's friends.

He said no and the closes one to PJ is Jax, and no one's heard from him, I told Chandler that he's missing so he could be with PJ, Chandler what's bothering you? 

Daddy James it's two things one is Blake he still won't talk to me after what PJ did, and two I want PJ to come home.

 I was wondering if Chandler wanted PJ home to put his hands on him, or just wants his brother home safe.

I told him to give it some time maybe after Blake cools off, he'll call him, he said it doesn't look like it he minus well focus on PJ coming home. Pie came out and said the Bushes are here, I told Chandler we'll talk later, I went into the house, and the Bushes told us that Jeff told them to come here he found out something about Jax already.

I told them Jeff is downstairs, I'll call him up here, Mr. Bush said he hopes it's good news about Jax, this isn't like him to be gone without telling them where he's going, I called Jeff and told him the Bushes are here, he said he'll be right up. A few minutes later Jeff came up, he thanked the Bushes for coming to him he couldn't get away, what he has to tell the Bush's concerns us too, Mrs. Bush said is Jax with PJ.

Mrs. Bush I just found out that Jax's credit cards have been used, Mrs. Bush said thank God where is he, I told them he's here in Savannah, she said that's odd that Jeffery isn't answering his phone. I asked them is there someplace that Jax likes to go, Mr. Bush said he didn't think about it until now they have a house on Tybee Island that they're going to sell, Jeff must be there. I told them to give me a key and if they have an alarm to give me the code, Mr. Bush said they can just go up there and he asked me how much they owe me; I told them nothing and I want to go up there with them.

Jeff, you said what you had to tell the Bushes concerned all of us, he said he tracked down PJ's car he's on Tybee Island, Mrs. Bush said the boys must be together, Jax had a lot of catching up to do since PJ went to school abroad. I asked her why she thought that, she said Jax told her that, I looked at Pie, she asked is something wrong. Mrs. Bush, PJ has been in West Haven for over a year now he escaped from there, she said oh God, if PJ's hurt Jax there's no place he can hide from her, Mr. Bush told her to calm down PJ and Jax have known each other since junior high school he wouldn't hurt Jax, she said let's just go, we all left and went to their house on Tybee Island.

It didn't take us long to get to their house, Mr. Bush opened the garage, he said that's PJ's car they must be in Jax's car, we went into the house and looked around, Mrs. Bush called for Jax he didn't answer. We heard a knock on the door, Mrs. Bush said that must be the boys, Mr. Bush said why would they be knocking on the door; we all went to the door; Mrs. Bush answered the door, Mr. Bush told us that's one of their neighbors she knows everything that goes on around here. Mrs. Bush asked her has she seen Jax. She said no but she has seen another young man driving away in Jax car. I asked her how long was that she said maybe an hour ago, I looked out the door and saw a car slowing down, Mr. Bush said that's Jax's car, he ran out and the car drove away, Mrs. Bush said that was PJ she's calling the police.

 The woman told them one of their neighbors Brenda Hall was killed in her bed, the maid found her, she had sex whoever she was with smothered her with a pillow, Mr. Bush pulled us to the side and said he knew that Jax was sleeping with Brenda, but he wouldn't kill her and if PJ has Jax's car where is his son. I told Jeff to have another look around I'm praying PJ didn't do anything to Jax or had anything to do with that woman being killed.

Mrs. Bush told us she called the police and reported Jax car stolen, she broke down and cried where is her son, Jeff came back into the room and said he'd like to see me in the garage, Mr. Bush asked did he find something, Jeff told him his wife shouldn't see what he found, she said is it her son, she just walked past Jeff and went to the garage, she screamed, Jeff's body was in the freezer, she said PJ killed her son, she pounded on my chest, Pie looked at me and walked to the car.

The police arrived and the Bushe's told them PJ murdered their son, and they want him arrested, I told them I'm sorry, Mr. Bush said my whole family will be once they ask for the death penalty once PJ is found, now get the hell out of here. I walked to the car, Pie said PJ has lost it he killed Jax, and he could've killed that woman too, our son is sick.

 We left and I called Ekim I told him what's going on, he said damn, he'll handle the police and try and keep it out of the media, we went home. When we got there, we told Chandler and Liz what happened he said it's his fault if only he had told us about PJ being here, Pie told him don't blame himself, PJ is sick and it could be out of our hands now, Pie went upstairs.

Liz said PJ will never come back here now that he knows the police is after him, I went upstairs with Pie, I told him it wasn't Chandler's fault but mine, Pie said no we're not going to take the blame for this. 

James, PJ got the same as Chandler, PJ chose to do what he did, sure we spoiled them but not to the point that PJ thought he can do what the fuck he wants. I got in bed and asked James to hold me, I couldn't cry. I hated to think I wished my son never comes back.

 There was no sign of PJ, a week later Jax's body was release to his parents, the police found the knife he was killed with, they matched the prints with PJ's he's been in jail several times, and I always covered for him, I can't do it anymore. I had no doubt my son killed his friend. 

We went to Jax's funeral the Bush's said we weren't welcome there and PJ will pay for what he did they promise us that, we just went home.

Another week went by, and we were being sued by the Bush's, for a hundred and fifty million dollars, Ekim said he'll pay them that's the lease he can do. Ekim said there's something else he should tell us, Pie said he doesn't know how much he can take, Ekim told him he needs to hear this, he found out his blood pressure medication was tampered with, they found pesticide in it, once he said that I knew PJ did it when he came to the barbecue, he hates us. If he did that to Ekim I'm sure PJ wants to kill me, God I hope I don't have to kill my son, what will that do to Pierre let alone our marriage.
