Part 19

It's time we told them.

It's been a month since Keith found out what's going on with him, if he wasn't at my house I was at his, I could tell that is mom wanted to spend time with Keith, I told him it's time we told our parents that we're married, because his mom doesn't always like me being here.

Keith said we'll just go and live in the house in the woods and go today, all he wants to do is be with me, and he's of age, so they can't say anything about him moving out. He asked me what's my folks going to say, he said he's sure they'll have a lot to say, I told him they will but there's nothing they can do about it.

We went upstairs and packed some of my things and went downstairs, Mildred asked me where I am going with half of my things, I told her I'm moving out, she asked me did my parents know, I told her they'll know when she tells them, we walked out the door. I put half my things in Chandlers car, and the rest in my car and we left, I saw Mildred watching us as we drove away.

 We got to the house and unpacked my things, Chandler said he's going to the main house and get the rest of his things, I asked him did he need any help, he said no it wasn't a lot of stuff, he left, and I started putting things in the closet, my phone rang, it's mom Mildred didn't waste any time calling her.

I answered the call, before I could say anything mom said Keith Steven Richards what the hell do I mean I'm moving out, when mom calls me by my full name she's pissed. I told her it's true I just want to be with Chandler, and we have a nice place to live, mom I'm alright, she asked me what's really behind me moving out, is it because I told dad they want to spend time with me without Chandler always being around.

 I told her that's part of it and like I said I just want to be with Chandler, so I don't care if they cut me off, I'll be okay, I have the mom grandfather left me when I turned eighteen, mom said no one said anything about doing that, she said she'll call me back dad is on the other line, she hung up.

Chandler called me and said come to the main house his dad's found out that we're married, I asked him are they upset with us, he said just come up and I'll find out, he hung up.

 I went to the main house that Liz woman said we're just baby's, trying to be grown we don't know what we're doing getting married, Chandler came into the kitchen and took my hand we went into the living room and my dad is here, he said why would I do something like this, Chandler is the first boy I ever really liked, I told him he's wrong I had other boys he just didn't care enough to know, the doorbell rang, dad said that should be my mother.

 Liz answered the door and mom came into the room, she said I don't know what I'm doing, and she's sure we didn't tell the Lattimore's what's going on with me. Chandler told his dads about me they looked at each other, Mr. James told us to leave the room so that they can talk to my parents. Chandler told them no matter what they say, we're married and going to be happy we left the room.

 Chandler and I walked around the grounds of their property, he said he meant what he said and even if his dad's cut him off, he'll get a job and support us that's what a husband does, I told him so far, my mom's not going to cut me off.  But if she changes her mind, I have the money my grandfather left me, I'm of age to get it now, I said I wonder what our parents are saying, Chandler said who knows but there not going to break us up.

 After a half an hour Chandler's folks told us to come to the house, we did and Chandler told them no matter what they say we're going to be together, mom said they can stop us and declare us of unsound mind, but there not, all they ask is that we don't stay in that old house, mom said we can live with them, or we can live in the pool house.

Dad said at least think about what mom said, I told Chandler if it's okay with him I'd like to stay in the old house, he said he wants to stay there too. Mom said she wants Chandler to stay with us, I told her again I want to be on my own with my husband, for as long as I have to live, mom cried and said okay, but I better come and see her twice a week and make sure I take my meds and eat, Liz said she'll make sure of that, I should've known she was somewhere listening.

I told mom I will, and she said I have to keep seeing doctor Michaels, and Chandler has to see dad, he said he will, mom said I didn't answer her, I told her I will because doc is helping me deal with all of this, she hugged me, Mr. James said why don't they stay for dinner, mom said she'd like that and it looks like there in laws. Chandler told them we know they love us, but they have to let us live our lives, Liz said we're still babies she'll have to take care of us, we had dinner and later we went to the house in the woods, we had sex, and held each other this is all I want, before Chandler gives up on me.
