Part 21

Are we ready for another new addition to the family

Bash came down to see us, he asked me am I ready for another kid, not that he would have a problem with another nephew, I said or niece, Pie doesn't know what he wants. He said no matter what we have we'll love the kid just like we did with the other kids we have, even Pierre James, I told him my son did a lot of things, but I never stopped loving him.

James that's what a father does, not like our so-called father, Bash said as he looked at me, he said I did the best I could all I can do as a parent is hope for the best for my kids. He asked me about Chandler and Keith, I told him so far there doing good, but there young, but who knows their love could be forever. Keith is the first boy Chandler's ever really been with, and he knows how it can be with your first love, bro said he really couldn't speak on it, he's never really had a first love, sure there's been plenty of women, but no one he's been in love with.

I told him let's just say one day he'll find the right woman and get married, and give me some nieces or nephews, he said maybe someday, but right now he's enjoying his freedom. And just being around his nephews, he can see that marriage works for me and my son's, he'll see about kids in his life.

Pierre came into the room and spoke to Bash, bro asked him about adopting a child, Pie was so excited to tell Bash, he still not sure if he wants a girl or a boy, Bash said how about both, I said one's enough, I want some time with my husband.

Bash said I know I enjoy kids around the house just as much as Pie does, and since CJ is about to finish college and starting his life, and Manny is doing his thing, I want a house full of kids I can't fool him. I told him I'd rather have another kid and a dog. Pie said we talked about that and the dog I want is a Cane Corso and I'm not having that thing in our house.

 I told him I was just talking we can't have a dog like that in the house with a child, Pie said and him too, he's never liked big aggressive dogs, Bash started laughing, and said he was just picturing Pie standing in a corner all day waiting for me to get home, because the dog keeps looking at Pie. Liz walked into the room and let us know lunch is ready, she called the boys twice and they still haven't come here to eat, I told her let them be, if they're hungry they'll come and eat.

Knowing those two, there doing the nasty again, that's all they do, that's why they didn't want to move in here, Bash told her never mind them who was the man he saw drop her off last night.

Oh, you saw that, Mr. Sebastian, well he's just a friend we went to the movies, and I sent him on his way.

 Pie said at six in the morning he saw that man sneaking out the side door, so she got her some sex, Liz covered her ears and said she doesn't have to listen to this and walked out of the room. Bash said Liz is something else, getting her some sex and talking about what everyone around here is doing.

James, I made up my mind, I want a little girl, we have enough boys around here, and I can relate to a girl.

Pie, you say that now, and once you see another boy you'll want him and the girl, and you only can get one, he said it's not like a piece of candy it's a child, I told him one. Bash asked are we fighting. Pie told him we don't fight we just do what he wants, Bash shook his head, and we went outside and had lunch. I'm really going to put my foot down, Pie either gets a boy or a girl I'm not giving in this time.

 The boys joined us, they said they had sandwiches in their house, and Chandler asked are we ready to go to the family cemetery, we've been planning to go and visit Pierre James's grave for a while, and we've been putting it off that's another reason why Bash is here.

Pie told them we're ready to go, Chandler said they'll meet us there, after they leave the family cemetery there going to see Keith's parents. I called for Liz, she came out, I told her we're ready to leave now, she said let her put the dishes away and she'll be ready, Bash helped her clear the table. The boys said they'll meet us there, Keith said there going to stop and get flowers to put on Pierre James grave, Chandler told us that Manny and his family will meet us there, they left.

James, I don't know why I feel a strange way about visiting our son's grave, bae said we don't have to go today if I'm not ready, I told him as long as he's with me I'll be alright, and besides Bash came all the way down here to visit with us.

Liz and Bash came out, she said she's ready to go, we walked to the car and got in, why do I feel some kind of way about visiting my own sons grave, not sure if it's good or bad, but I love my son.

On the way to the Alexander compound, Pie held my hand tightly, I told him it's not too late to change his mind, he said he wants to do this, we got to the family compound and not only were my family here, but the Alexanders, I'm glad they came out it will help Pie. We got out of the car and Chandler was talking to a girl, she ran away. I wonder who she is, and how did she get on the compound.

He walked up to us, I asked him about the girl, he said she dated PJ, she left town he thinks PJ did something to her, we walked over to the rest of the family and spoke, Chandler put the flowers on the grave, Pie walked over and said how he loved PJ, even if he knew deep down he did a lot of things that weren't right.

The rest of the family said nice things about PJ, some knew the things he did, and some didn't, but that's okay. I put my hand on the headstone and said son I love you and I hope you're in a better place.

Chandler introduced Keith to PJ and said he's happy and he doesn't hide who he is, I'm glad Chandler no longer lives under PJ's shadow and lives his life. I'm also glad he has Keith, after everything was said we went to the main house and just talked, Ekim asked us about adopting a child, Pie said he's ready to move on.

Brianna told him to make sure the child isn't a replacement for PJ, he told her the child won't be and he can love another child, PJ will always be a part of us, but we have to move on and live our lives. I hope Pie means that, I really do.
