Part 9

PJ's other family.

I knew I couldn't count on any of my family from either of my father's sides of the family, so maybe I can count on my biological mother or her brother Chadwick, I know all about him and the man he's married too. They too have a house on Tybee Island I saw them a few times while I was there, right now I'm staying in the house of that old bitch I fucked and killed, but I can't stay here long before someone sees me. I had to ditch Jax's car and my phone I forgot my daddy James has a trace on our phones.

I went down to the beach and walked down towards their house; I had on a hoodie hoping no one would recognize me sense my picture is all over the media. I saw my Uncle Chadwick walking towards me, he got close, I kept my head down after he passed me he stopped and asked am I alright. I turned and looked at him he looked at me and said damn which one am I.

He recognized I'm one of his nephews, but doesn't know if I'm Chandler or me, I told him I'm Chandler I just come here to get away, people think I'm my brother, he told me to come to the house and we can talk, we walked to his house and he asked me did I remember him we only met like once, I told him yes, but I didn't know he lived here.

He said he does a lot of traveling, he asked about my parents, I told him there taking it hard, I think I'm going to ask them if I can go away for a while, he said maybe he can talk to them about me traveling with them. I told him that would be nice, I would like to know my mother and her family well I know my biological grandparents are dead, he said I have two more Uncles.

I asked him what's my mother like, he said she's smart because she doesn't rely on the family money, and she too travels a lot. I asked him does she ever talk about me and my brother, he said she does, but its best that she stays away, I told him we have family, but a guy needs his mom as well.

Chandler sometimes they do, and in my case they don't, you were young when my mother took you, do you remember the name you would call her, he said it's been a long time he thinks it was nanna, I told him that's right. Chandler took his hoodie off and I didn't see the small scar on his right arm mother said he fell, damn he isn't Chandler, but Pierre James is this boy dangerous.

Tell me Chandler are you staying here in Tybee Island, he said no he just came up here to get away, I asked him would he like to stay with us, he said Damon won't mind, I told him know he'd like to see him but only if it's alright with your parents. And I'm glad he remembers Damon, I got my phone, he asked what I am doing.

Chandler how about you call your parents and tell them you're with me, he said he's nineteen he doesn't have to tell them, I told him with all that's going on they'll be worried about him, Pierre James took the phone and called someone, I'm sure he didn't call his parents, but I will.

He said he didn't talk to his dads but he talked to Liz, and told her where he is, she'll tell his dads, I said he'll need a change of clothes we can go to his house and get somethings if he likes and I can see his dads, he said he can just go and get them he doesn't want to take me out of my way, I told him I have nothing else to do while I wait for Damon to get back.

He looked at me with an odd look on his face, Chandler is there a reason you don't want me to go with you, he said no it's cool, he said but we'll have to take my car, there driver dropped him off. I told him Damon has my car, I guess it's time I got him a car, just because of stuff like this, I told him while we wait, how about having lunch with me, but I must warn you it's nothing fancy, Damon does the cooking around here.

 He said it's fine, I made sandwiches, and we ate outside, damn this boy is clever pretending to be Chandler, I wonder how many times he's done that. After lunch PJ said he'll take a walk on the beach, he'll be back, I told him oaky and he left, I watched him going down the beach and he went towards the house where a woman was killed, maybe that's where he's been staying.

I called James and told him that PJ was here, pretending to be Chandler, he asked where I am, I gave him my address and I told him PJ is going to come back, and I think PJ is staying in a house where a woman was killed. James said he's on his way, don't say anything to PJ, I told him I won't James hung up, I hope PJ doesn't get suspicious and leave.

I looked out the window to make sure Chadwich didn't follow me to this house, I went in a room and found some clothes that might fit me, and that way I can stay with my Uncle and not run, I tried them on they were a little tight but they'll do, I'll just tell Chadwick that I had my driver just bring me some clothes, so I'll wait an hour and go back to his house.

I got undressed and took a shower, Chadwick will be fine as long as he doesn't try and call my dads, I would hate to kill him or Damon.

(The arrival)

I didn't tell Pie where I was going, I did call Ekim and told him to get some men out there right away, he said he'll do that and he's on his way too. Pie was outside with Savannah for once I'm glad she's here and I left, Chandler was pulling up and I just got in the car and drove away.

It didn't take me long to get to Chads house, I called him and asked did PJ come back, he said not yet, I told him I'm outside, I'm going down to that house and take a look, Chadwick said PJ acted calm but who knows what's going through his head. I hung up and went to that house the police tape is still on the front door, I went around back and the tape over the patio door was torn off.

I looked through the window, I didn't see PJ, I slowly opened the door and stepped in, I could hear music coming from upstairs, maybe he's still here, I went upstairs and pulled out my gun I didn't want to kill my son, but he might not give me a choice. I looked in the bedroom and saw clothes on the bed and some on the floor, and the shower was going, PJ always liked taking long showers.

I noticed my gun on the dresser, I picked it up and unloaded it and placed it back on the dresser, the water stopped, and I could hear PJ singing, he walked into the room with a towel wrapped around him and he was drying his head with the other one, he moved the towel and saw me.

Son it's over no more running, you have to pay for what you did to Jax and that woman.

Dad please don't send me back to that place, I'll do better I promise, PJ said as he looked at the gun on the dresser, PJ you're not going back to that place, you'll have a trial, and the law will decide what happens to you, it's out of our hand's son.

PJ ran to the dresser and picked up the gun, he pointed it at me and pulled the trigger, I told him I emptied it, this tells me just how much he wants to kill me, he threw the gun at me and ran up on me, he knocked my gun out of my hands, and we started fighting me, he said he'll kill me before he goes to jail. We fought, PJ was very strong, he knocked me down and picked up my gun, I heard a voice say PJ no.

He turned and looked at the door it's Pie and Chadwick, he pointed the gun at them and told them to back away he doesn't want to hurt them only me, I started to get up and PJ turned and pointed the gun at me, he said he's going to kill me, PJ pulled the trigger and he shot me in the arm, he was getting ready to pull the trigger again. I looked at the door, Ekim and Jeff are standing there, Jeff had his gun pointed at PJ, Pie said no, PJ turned around and was about to shoot I heard a shot. 

PJ went down and asked Pie to help him, Pie came over to me and asked am I alright, I told him, I'm alright we went over to PJ and his eyes were open and looked so cold, Pie checked him and said he's dead. Jeff said he had to make a choice, he'll call the police and walked out of the room.

Pie looked at Ekim and said this is the second time our boy was taken from us, only this time he won't come back, Pie helped me up and told Ekim he doesn't blame him or Jeff, maybe this was best for PJ.

Pie helped me into the other room, Jeff said the police are on their way, he looked at my arm and said it looks like the bullet went right through me, he took his tie off and wrapped it around my arm, he said sorry for what he had to do. I told him don't blame himself, I'm just glad I didn't have to take my son's life.

 Pie said Chandler is at Chadwick's house with Damon, I asked him how he knew to come here, he said EJ overheard Ekim talking to me, and he called him he thought Pie knew what was going on. Pie said thank God I'm alright, the police came and so did EMS, they did what they could for me, the police said they'll just talk to me at the hospital.

Damon and Chandler came up and Chandler asked me am I okay, and is PJ dead, he had a bad feeling, I told him I'm sorry his brother is gone, he rode with me to the hospital, Pie said he'll follow us to the hospital. My son is dead.
