Yuri woke up as her alarm triggered. She mumbled incoherent sounds as she went for her phone to disactivate the annoying sound. Once she managed to turn it off, she grunted softly as she wasted no time to stand up. Stretching her arms upwards she felt a bone or two popping. She made her way outside of her bedroom as she walked down her stairs.

"Hello daughter." Her mom said, holding her cup of coffee with one hand as she watched the T.V. "Hello Mom." Yuri greeted back as she groggily prepared her coffee. She took her mug and put it in the microwave. Setting it up for 30 seconds and pressed the start button.

Once the device was done heating her coffee, she took it out and put a bit of milk in it. She took a sip and let out a small smile of pleasure. She took her time as she watched the television alongside her mother.

"You seem happy Yuri." Her mom said out of nowhere. Surprised, Yuri almost choked on her last sip of coffee before blushing a bit. "W-Why are you saying that ?" Yuri said, fleeing her mom's eyes. "Just a hunch, why is that ? Is it because of a boy ?" Her mom said with a teasing smile. She knew, to some extend, Yuri's shyness. "Yes." Yuri said as she played with her hair. "I'm kiddi-..." Her mom stopped before going wide-eyed. "Are you serious ?" She said, now being at her turn surprised.

"Yes mom. Though I met him just three days ago." Yuri said, blushing but not stuttering. Her mom nodded and smiled to her daughter. "I assume he is a good man if you are like that." She said as she felt happy that her daughter found someone she liked. "He is, even too good for me." Yuri said, her mother just scoffed a bit. "Don't say that. If he doesn't see your charm, he is most certainly blind." She said as she stood up from her chair, looking at the hour. "I must go to work, but I am willing to talk about this boy tonight." She said, showing a teasing smile once more before taking some keys and made her way outside her home.

Yuri was a bit surprised, but still managed to do her morning routine. Brushing teeth, taking a shower, perfuming herself, putting her uniform, brushing her hair. She even surprised herself as she took a bit longer than usually. She, normally, just checked if her hair wasn't gross or had small knots. But, as she was doing that, she just smiled to herself as she went out of the bathroom.

She knew for who she was doing that, he was indeed a good boy.

'Good enough to care a bit.' She thought.

'What if he was lying ?' Her pestering thought came out of nowhere.

She shook her head as she was heading to his house, looking at her phone with a trembling hand.

'He said that I could message him.' She thought as her fingers typed the text.

'I'll only disturb him.' As a duo, her pestering thought came too. She clenched her free hand as she was resolved to send the message.

She couldn't back down, she didn't want to.

With the text being sent, she began her walk as her phone vibrated just a second before she put it in the blazer's right pocket.

She went and grabbed the phone in her blazer as she looked ahead of her. Only to find a brown haired boy.

"Didn't have to look at your phone it seems." Y/N said, harboring a small, albeit noticeable smile. This smile of his had a certain power to Yuri, as she found it cute and relaxing to look at.

"T-That is a surprise, hello Y-Y/N." She said as she felt her cheeks being a bit hotter. "Hello to you too, Yuri." He replied as they both walked towards the school. "Did you make progress in Boy's Abyss ?" Y/N's question reminded Yuri an idea she had when she read a bit of it the night before. "N-Not a lot, but ..." Yuri trailed off, as she clutched her bag's strap with her right hand.
