Being human meant being emotional, being able to feel things, respond and act on them. People have several degree for that, as each human feel differently.
One cannot feel correctly, one can feel normally, and one can feel too much.
Those who can't feel can think with objectively and can act rationally. There are the people who you want as a leader, as he will always make the best choice. Or the least worst one.
Those who can feel normally are your average humans. They try to act objectively but often end up ending their emotions as fuel for their ideas. They cannot not act without them.
Those who feel more than the majority are often viewed as unstable and erratic. Humans acted on their emotions but all tried to hide it. So when someone acted on them because if was overbearing, humanity always felt like it was a flaw.
Yet another case of human's hypocrisy.
Feelings are natural, they make humans feel alive. Yet they won't act upon them as if it was a weak point. Showing your feelings through acts and ideas was, at times, not a good idea. But ever so often someone can proclaim that acting on feelings is the best way to live.
The people saying that were the light of the humans who felt a lot of things.
Yuri was the one to feel strongly, and Y/N was the one to say that it was okay.
Little by little, she took pride in her emotions, it made her feel alive, human. Her emotions always switching and changing. They made her unique for Y/N's eyes.
She always envied the fact that Y/N could also act upon them without thinking, as if it was natural for him. Maybe it was, maybe he forced himself to act upon them. That she couldn't know, as it felt natural when he did.
She found herself mesmerized by Y/N's light, the brightness and the warmth he gave to her was something she couldn't find herself being tired of. It was comfy, comforting.
Even if her relationship with Y/N was at the early stage, since they started to date each other not even a week ago, she was in love with him, even a bit too much considering the amount of time they knew each other.
She knew that Y/N had only Yuri, but she feared that he might leave her nonetheless. He was a stunning young man, he radiated charisma and confidence, his laid-back and calm personality was something she could always have besides her. But feared that Y/N might be bored with her and leave as soon as he deemed her to be a hassle.
She knew that he wasn't like that, but still feared it.
She also knew that Y/N, behind his calm smile and his relaxed expression was someone troubled with his past. She knew that his last relationship was not ideal, she knew that his last school was a pain. She couldn't ask questions about all of those, as he was evasive all of the time.
He did say that he was willing to talk about it with her, but he had to be ready. Another hint of his traumas about sharing something private. She could only wait for Y/N to open up. And when that day comes, she was sure to stay with him, no matter how was his past.
Yuri stepped out of her thoughts as she opened the shower's door to grab her towel, beginning to dry herself.
She knew that Y/N was a victim of assault to some extend, the way he acted when her hands was near his thigh, the way he reacted when she flirted with him at his house. He was afraid of being intimate, touchy with someone.
Her fist tightened a bit unwillingly as she felt some anger to the person who did that to her marvelous Y/N. She mentally swore that if, one day, she would be ahead of his ex-girlfriend, she could just beat her up.
