People tend to put their special one on a pedestal, for the better or the worst. Let's say, a man and a woman fell in love towards each other, but during their time as a couple, the man did something absolutely wrong. The woman know about it all but when confronted by it, the woman will defend her lover as if her life was on the line.

Although romantic, this form of love was unhealthy, but wasn't the only one. There's so many thing that can make love an unhealthy thing. Jealousy, obsession, cheating, neglect. The list could go on. Love can twist people's mind and soul, making them do abject things just for the sake of their lovers.

One could kill, one could harass, could steal for the only purpose of pleasing their special one. Those were the type of people Y/N knew far too well. He saw people in middle school lying about themselves to their better-half, just to be a little bit more presentable.

Of course, people could also lie about how they are right in their boots, romantic, only seeing their lover and only them. But in their mind, it could be the complete opposite.

Y/N had a special relationship with lies. He found them unbearable to speak, but also necessary to some extend. He found them painful to hear, but he couldn't know the truth beforehand, so he indulged into some lies.

Some were the light ones. When he asked a chewing gum to one of his classmate, which responded that he didn't have any, whilst chewing on one Y/N saw him putting into his mouth from a small recipient. Those lies weren't making him mad, but couldn't understand why he lied in the first place. If he didn't want to share, he could've just said so.

Some were the medium ones. When he asked his ex-girlfriend is she was happy with him. She said yes, and they would 'fight anything that came into their story'. After some time, he understood that it was a lie. It made Y/N angry, she could simply tell the truth but didn't and chose to say a full-on lie just to make him feel better. It didn't.

Some were the heavy ones. When he saw his ex-girlfriend shamelessly flirting with other boys in the school, he wanted to confront her immediately. He heard about how 'Y/N is simply a bore, he doesn't want to do anything to me.' Or 'He's not even good looking in the first place, the other girls must have shitty eyes.' But when she told him that it was just a lie to give them what they wanted. He was pissed, oh boy he was pissed.

And he needed to show that you couldn't diss him without paying a certain price. In his final day of middle school, one paid the price, tax included. And Y/N didn't feel bad about it, quite the opposite.

He felt happy giving the dude a full on beating.

But he lied to himself, he wanted to be considerate, he wanted to make himself bad for beating the boy into a pulp. Needless to say, he shortly found himself happy as he remembered his pained expression on the stone cold pavement.

Y/N shook his head, putting his sleeveless hoodie on as he checked himself once more in his mirror. He was ready to go on his day as he remembered that he had P.E this day. So he swiftly exited his bathroom, took his sports gear and put it in his bag. Y/N took his keys and exited his house, locking the door behind him. As he had done it, he went to walk on the road as he looked at his left, only to find a purple haired beauty walking towards him.

"Hey you." Y/N said as Yuri was close enough for him to hug her. The girl didn't waste anytime to counter his move by moving her arms around his waist. "You ? Not anything else ?" Yuri said as she kissed his cheek, Y/N smiled as he returned the kiss she gave him, but this time on her mouth. "Good morning, oh my love." Y/N said, imitating poorly a royal accent. Yuri couldn't help but to chuckle to his act. "I didn't know I was royalty." Yuri said, she latched herself on his right arm as they began to walk.
