Nostalgia is a concept that evolves the past. You remember a distant memory and you feel like it's was the best time you had. When your mother would buy McDonalds, when your father would repair your bike, when your parents would sing happy birthday while you blew the candles on your favorite cake. Needless to say, nostalgia was good with good memories.

But bad ones, oh God can it be awful. You look back and you make yourself live through your past experiences, the bad or the worsts, in between or not even worth thinking about it. Even if it was suffering, you can't help but to think : 'It was good.' That's when nostalgia can become quite perverted.

This concept had no morals, not spectrum of any sorts, it did its job. It can amplify the best memories you have, or the worst ones.

Y/N disliked nostalgia for obvious reasons, but couldn't help to think about his time in middle school. What if Y/N had the guts to instantly break up with her ? What if Y/N never got with her in the first place ? What if Y/N never left her and stayed prisoner of her psychological torture ?

Those thoughts made him shiver in discomfort, he could not think about giving himself to her once again. And he was happy to a certain degree.

He got to meet the girls, which he loved dearly. His friendships with them was not something he could shrug off and forget. They all made a strong impression on him.

Sayori's happiness could be easily felt and transferred. She was a bundle of sunshine, joy and rainbows for everyone to see and take part in and out.

But behind that happiness, Y/N felt that she had something to hide, something big and deep. He didn't know what, but he feared the time when Sayori would just not be the 'image' of Sayori that everyone knew.

Natsuki's bluntness was something to witness with two opened, amused eyes. Her words and acts didn't match the cute look she showed to the world.

She liked cute things but also showed one of the most unattractive trait for the students. Y/N thought that it was because of something related to her family. Y/N once talked about his dad and his tendency to break things. Which Natsuki responded by a vague, but somewhat shocked look. She wanted to be alone in her world, pushing everyone outside. Maybe he read into it too much.

Monika's calmness was also something to behold, it seemed like she always knew how to act and to talk. It was something Y/N truly admired from her, being able to talk about everything without drawback.

But Monika seemed to be a somewhat popular person in the school. Y/N often heard about Monika's skill, may it be in classes, in music, in sports. Everyone treated her like a mascot, and Y/N knew what it felt like. Maybe he should talk about it with her before it's too late.

Then, the one girl he was in love with, Yuri. She had his aura of mystery and maturity around her, at first, Y/N couldn't decipher the girl, that was why he was drawn to her.

But he learned that Yuri was a unstable girl, he disliked to think about it, but he knew that it was true. Yuri told Y/N about her bad experiences in middle school, after everything she had gone through, her image in her own mind deteriorated to a state where she didn't even think of herself normally.

It broke Y/N's heart a bit, knowing that Yuri had all of those problems. But swore to be with her when she needed.

That left Y/N, the young man and newest addiction to the club. Calm, collected, witty with a charming aura. Unbeknownst to him, he was quite the talk in school. People talked about how someone could be hanging out with some of the most beautiful girls in the school.

And of course, when they learned that he was going out with Yuri, some people wanted him to break up just for them to collect the pieces of a broken relationship.
