Edaline and Grady had decided to begin hosting their annual party at Havenfield again.

Of course, much to Sophie's dismay, this meant she was expected to dress according to the event which was far fancier than her own fashion tastes.

As a result, Biana came over to force the blonde girl to get her hair and makeup done.

"Please nothing too drastic okay?" Sophie pleaded.

"You have to be breathtaking! You're the child of the hosts!" Biana retorted, brushing gold glitter onto her eye lids, followed by dark brown eyeliner on her waterline. "Now do you want your hair up? Down? Half up?"

"Half up." Sophie grumbled, sighing in defeat.

Biana nodded and began curling her long blonde locks before pinning up the top layer into an intricate bun. She left a few wispy pieces out to frame her Sophie's face.

"Tada!" Biana cheered, throwing her hands in the air as an act of celebration.

Sophie looked in the mirror for the first time since she started and was genuinely a little taken aback. Biana was always talented at makeup but she had outdone herself.

Sophie still looked like herself but her eyes were glowing, the glitter and brown eyeliner bringing out the honey color. Her cheeks were perfectly rosy as though she had spent the day basking in the sun. Her hair was elegantly tied back but still wispy enough that it showed off her character.

"Biana." Sophie started, gazing into the mirror. "You- wow. This is amazing."

Biana squealed excitedly jumping up and down. "I knew you'd like it! Now hurry we have to get dressed. They started 15 minutes ago!"

They each put on their gowns. Biana's was a pink gown covered in tulle, with a massive flowing base that moved with her as she moved.

"That dress suits you perfectly." Sophie told her honestly, as she zipped up the back for her.

"Girl have you seen yourself? Keefe is going to have a heart attack when he sees you."

Sophie blushed, looking in the mirror as Biana zipper her dress.

The gown was a deep satin red that hugged her slim curves, falling just above her feet so that her gold heels could be seen. It didn't drag on the floor, in order to prevent any clumsy Sophie falls, and there was no big flouncy ball gown.

It suited her perfectly.

"Alright alright alright! Let's go!" Biana said, looping her arm through Sophie's and leading her to the stairs.

Biana instructed her to stay at the top. "I'll go first and get Keefe. Trust me, he will want to see this."

Sophie rolled her eyes but conceded, waiting at the top.

After a minute, Biana called up the steps. "Okay we're ready!"

Sophie exhaled deeply before carefully beginning her descent down the fancy steps, clutching to the railing with her right hand and holding up the hem of the gown with her left.

As she neared the bottom she spotted Keefe who stared up at her.

An expression of pure awe covered his face, while Biana stood beside him with a full faced grin.

When Sophie reached the bottom she stopped in front of Keefe, looking up at him nervously.

"Do you like it?" She asked hesitantly.

He stared down at her, his lips moving as he stuttered over words that didn't make a sentence. "Y-Yeah its- well-uh-i mean yes- i just-"

Anxiety grew in her stomach. "You don't like it, do you?" She murmured, stepping back a step in defeat.

"No! I mean yes. I love it. I promise. I just-" He cut off again, grabbing both of her hands and just looking her up and down.

"You don't have to lie." She mumbled, looking down.

"Sophie, I don't think I have ever seen someone so breathtaking in my entire life. When you started walking down the stairs, every single thought left my brain. It's empty up here. The only thing up there is you." Keefe breathed out, staring into her eyes.

A little smile crossed her face, relief caving in her.

Biana shrieked, clapping happily. "I knew it!"

Sophie and Keefe both looked over at her, the moment broken.

Biana rolled her eyes. "Okayyy, I get the memo. I'll leave you alone. Have fun lovebirds."

When she left, Keefe turned back to his girlfriend who was still blushing madly.

"May I have this dance?" He asked in a formal tone, humor hidden behind it.

"Why of course kind sir." Sophie replied, playing along.

Keefe grinned, putting and arm around her and guiding her to the floor where many couples were already dancing.

They joined in with the crowd, swaying softly with one hand on his shoulder and his hand holding her other.

"You look pretty handsome too you know." Sophie murmured, a little smirk on her lips.

"I wasn't kidding Sophie. I don't think i've ever seen someone as stunning as you. I can't believe I get to call you my girlfriend." He said honestly, gazing into her bright brown eyes.

"Don't get emotional on me now Keefe. I thought you we're supposed to be the comedic relief." She teased.

"I would make a joke right now but I don't think I can." He replied, still watching her move.

Sophie leaned up to capture his lips with hers in a gentle kiss. He responded gently, pulling her closer to him until they were chest to chest.

After a few seconds they pulled away and their foreheads rested together.

"I love you Sophie Foster." Keefe murmured dreamily.

"I love you too Keefe." She replied, grinning.
