"Mommy! Daddy!" A little voice squealed, causing Sophie to wake.

The bed shook as a small person jumped onto it, crawling up to where Sophie and Keefe slept.

"Mama mama mama mama." They chanted, shaking her shoulder and whispering in her ear.

"Mmm, i'm awake." She murmured, rolling over to look at her daughter.

Calla had light blonde hair and dark brown eyes, paired with a mischievous grin that could only come from one person.

Keefe groaned, rolling over as Calla jumped on him. "Dad! Dad! Dad! It's morning!"

"Is it?" He mumbled, burying his face in the pillow.

"Obviously." Calla replied, eyes rolling.

"I thought it was bedtime." He answered, teasing her whilst half awake,

"Dad don't be silly!" Calla shrilled, starting to tickle Keefe awake.

He started laughing, trying to hide from her under the covers to no avail.

Sophie snorted in amusement, watching as Keefe scooped their daughter up and tickled her until she laughed a deep belly laugh.

Suddenly Keefe stopped and whispered something in Calla's ear, making a smile grow on her little face.

She crept closer to Sophie in the bed, taking a few seconds before pouncing and tickling her too.

Sophie shrieked, trying to spare herself but finding no escape, accepting the tickles in defeat.

"Okay! Okay I surrender!" Sophie laughed, putting her hands up.

"I won I won!" Calla announced, hugging Sophie who held the little girl close.

Keefe admired the beautiful sight of his two girls first thing in the morning.

Despite the things they had gone through while growing up, Keefe would do it again 100 times over if he could experience these moments of pure bliss.

Sophie caught his eye and reached an arm out, tugging him closer so that they faced each other, Calla in the middle.

"Good morning." He murmured, pecking a kiss to her lips.

"Mmm, good morning." She replied, brushing a stray hair out of his eyes.

Calla had dozed off, mouth open and laying on Sophie who was rubbing her back gently.

"You stay here, i'll go make some food." Keefe said quietly, beginning to stand up.

"Thank you." Sophie murmured, gazing up at him with pure love in her eyes.

"Sleep, Foster." He said, placing a kiss on her forehead before pulling the blanket over his girls, both dozing off in the morning sunlight.

When did he get so lucky?
