Warm light shined into Keefe's eyes, causing him to wince as he opened them.
After a few seconds of adjusting to his surroundings, Keefe recognized the room he was in as Sophie's room at Havenfield.
His eyes widened for a second when he realized he normally left at least an hour ago to avoid getting caught.
However, he was incredibly comfy, and no one had found him yet, so he might as well stay for a while.
Sophie hummed, rolling over to face him with her arm sneaking beneath her pillow.
Despite her messy hair and scrunched face, he had never seen someone as stunning as her.
It amazed him every time he thought about it, that he was privileged enough to be with someone like Foster.
He found himself just gazing at her, not keeping track of the time.
Eventually she mumbled, "Stop watching me sleep, its creepy."
He smirked, "I refuse to be judged for simply admiring my girlfriend."
If her eyes were open, he knew that she would have rolled them at his response.
Instead she hummed again, scooting closer in bed and putting an arm over his stomach, using his shoulder as a pillow.
He snaked an arm around her, the other playing with the ends of her hair.
"What time is it?" She murmured, her voice heavy with sleep.
Her eyes popped open wide at that. "Keefe you have to go. We're gonna get caught." She said, starting to sit up.
Using the arm hooked around her waist, he tugged her back down, this time catching her lips in a gentle kiss.
They broke apart after a few seconds. "It'll be okay Foster. I'm enjoying this too much to leave."
She hesitated, but after a second just sighed. "If we get caught its on you."
"Yeah yeah yeah, I get it." Keefe replied, rolling his eyes. "Just kiss me woman."
Sophie's lips turned up into a soft smile before she leaned down, pressing her lips to his again.
Keefe trailed a hand down her back, settling at her waist, while the other held the side of her face.
When they pulled away for a breath, Keefe smirked. "I wish I could do this every morning."
"Put a ring on it and we'll see about that." Sophie replied cheekily.
"Hey! You're the one who told me not to rush!" Keefe answered in disbelief.
Sophie just laughed before kissing him again.
After a few seconds, she pecked a kiss at the corner of his mouth before trailing her way up his jaw.
She kissed the spot below his ear and he hummed in content, both hands resting on her waist.
Gently, she nipped at the spot, followed by soft kisses around it. He responded with a shudder, his hands squeezing her hips, pulling her close to him.
She breathed out against his neck. "If my dad walks in right now we're both so dead."
"I guess we better hope he doesn't walk in." Keefe replied, flipping them in the bed so that Sophie was on her back looking up at him.
He dipped his head down, kissing her again, gently coaxing her lips open with his.
She allowed him in, running her hands up his back and tangling in his messy blonde waves.
She tugged a little on his hair, causing him to kiss her harder, bruising her lips with his.
When they were both in need of air, Keefe pulled back but rested his forehead on hers as they each gasped for air.
"If I asked you to marry me right now, how mad would you be?" Keefe asked, half joking but part of him also deadly serious.
The haze immediately faded from her eyes, which opened up wide.
She pulled back, looking him full in the face. "Are you being serious right now?"
Keefe winced. "I can still do the whole proposal! Nevermind, forget I asked. Forget this happened. I'll just do it another tim-"
Sophie cut him off by pressing her lips to his. She pulled away grinning, "Of course i'll marry you idiot."
Keefe froze, looking down at her in shock. "Are you sure? I don't even have a ring. Oh gosh your dad is going to kill me I didn't even ask him."
"Yes i'm sure. You know i'm not a person who likes theatrics. And we can go pick out a ring together another time. My question is are you sure? You seem less certain now." She replied, trying to read the look in his eyes.
"I've never been more certain of anything in my entire life." He replied, gazing down at her glowing brown eyes.
"Okay then." Sophie said, a grin plastered on her face. "We're getting married."
"Yeah." Keefe said breathlessly, in awe of the woman before him. "Let's get married."
