They had decided on a small wedding, just friends and family. Edaline and Della had been running around Havenfield like madwomen setting up decorations and everything that could possibly be needed for a wedding.
On the other hand, the most stressful job Sophie was given was choosing a dress that she didn't absolutely hate.
After long laborious hours of trying on dress after dress with Biana, Linh, Edaline and Della, she finally settled on a simple dress that still made her feel pretty and like a bride.
Now, sitting on her childhood bed she gazed up at the elegant white gown that hung from her closet door, steamed and ready to be worn.
There was a knock on her door.
"Come in." She called, not getting up from her spot.
Edaline popped her head in, grinning widely. "All the decorations and everything is ready tomorrow! How are you feeling?"
Sophie smiled genuinely. "Excited. Really excited. But really nervous too." She admitted, her stomach turning.
"It will all work out. You couldn't have picked a better person to spend your life with." Edaline said, sitting beside her and hugging her from the side.
"I know, he's a keeper." Sophie laughed.
"That he is." Edaline remarked, sounding a little tearful.
"Are you crying?"
"I'm just so happy for you." Edaline choked out. "So incredibly happy."
Sophie hugged her mother back, squeezing tightly. "Thank you."
After a few moments Edaline exhaled shakily and gave her one last squeeze. "Alright. Get some sleep. You've got a big day ahead of you sweetheart."
"I love you. Goodnight." Sophie replied to Edaline as she left.

I can feel your nerves from here Foster. Keefe said in his mind.
Don't lie and act like you're not nervous too. She retorted.
Oh I am, don't you worry your pretty little head about it though.
She rolled her eyes as she smoothed the pleats of her dress, checking the mirror one last time.
"Sophie? Are you ready?" Edaline called.
"Yeah!" She replied, heading down the stairs.
Grady was waiting at the bottom, in a fine suit, eyes watery.
"Dad don't cry." She said, smiling a little.
"Don't tell a man he can't cry." He said, sniffling a little. "You look stunning."
"Thank you. Now let's not be late shall we?"
They walked outside to the cliffs overlooking the water where the wedding had been set up.
It was a small event, just their closest friends and family, the roaring waves in the background.
Grady and Sophie stood at the end of the aisle they had made by lining it with panakes petals, facing Keefe who was supported by Fitz, Dex, Tam and Wylie. On the bride's side stood Biana, Linh and Marella.
"Are you ready?" Grady murmured to her.
"As i'll ever be." She replied, taking a deep breath to settle herself.
They made their way down the aisle and as they got closer Sophie could see that Keefe's eyes were lined with tears.
Is Keefe Sencen crying right now? She teased him.
Happy tears Foster.
Grady handed her off and she passed her bouqet to Biana.
The ceremony went fast, or at least Sophie thought it did. The whole time she and Keefe simply gazed at each other, so incredibly in love with each other they couldn't stand it.
"The rings." The officiant announced, as Fitz stepped forward with their rings.
When they exchanged them, the officiant proudly proclaimed, "I present to you Mr. and Mrs. Sencen!"
Sophie and Keefe kissed, joy absolutely coursing through both of them.
Im so in love with you. She said in his mind, as they made their way down the aisle, grinning madly while everyone cheered and clapped.
Sophie I love you so much I think my heart might explode. I'm not sure if it can take any more. He answered, giving her a side glance and kissing her hand.
I suppose you'll just have to show me later. She replied, smirking.
You got it, Mrs. Sencen. He said, winking.
