Sheila had a very fun 80s decade. She was a single teen mother who met a couple that loved her. They had a threesome on Samhain and Sheila ended up pregnant. She knew there was more to her lovers.  Even without them telling her nothing but their names and vague details about their lives. So that was why the child of their union, Kore Morgan Bennett was sent to Camp Halfblood when she was twelve.

Camp Halfblood wasn't easy in the 1990s. Kore was saddened that she was never formally claimed. But everyone knew whose child she was. They called her blasphemous when she first arrived. But she was a child with three parents and gifted by all. Earthly magic from her witch mother and her goddess step mother, then lastly death magic from her father. She could see ghosts and also had the ability to restore life at certain points. She could deny a soul access to the underworld thereby making them a ghost or healing them if they were at the point of death.

It was good that Kore went to Camp Halfblood. Kore never got along with Abigail. Abigail was seven years older than her and not happy that Kore had three parents and she only had one. Kore was also clearly Sheila's favorite due to the affection she shared for her godly lovers instead of Abigail's father, who left her. Sheila didn't date afterwards and clearly often missed Persephone and Hades. But she knew that their love was a place in time as opposed to the eternal love they shared for each other. Little did she know, she meant more to them than she could possibly imagine. They only stayed away because they didn't want the other gods to find out about their relationship or Kore.

Kore left Camp Halfblood when she turned sixteen. She just left, missing home. She was able to finish high school quite quickly. Her mind was wired to Greek, like most Halfbloods, but that just meant she translated most things into Greek. Her parents knew how to help her so academically she's quite intelligent. She had an anthropology Masters and her doctoral thesis was about the death rites in different cultures. She also had a history Masters really focused on ancient Greece and Egypt. Kind of cheating but she didn't care. Kore didn't have many, if any, friends. Neither at Camp Halfblood nor in the human world. So her disappearance when she was twenty one was like a whisper. Then complete silence.

Secretly, she'd been living in the Underworld. She learned magic from both her namesake and Hekate. They were her mother and basically aunt. She also spent time with her father and half brothers. She and Sheila had spoken before but Sheila thought Kore was enjoying her time and didn't want to bother her, but of course she missed her. Kore knew her mother, Sheila, believed she loved her godly parents more than her but it wasn't true. They were great and living as a demigoddess/princess of the underworld was amazing. But it would never take away all the times her mother had comforted her after she'd been teased. After talking her into staying at Camp Halfblood every time someone spoke about her family. Or told her that she was a monster. Her wanting to stay in the Underworld had nothing to do with her mother. She just loved the different lives she led.
