Things were coming together. Which also meant that things are falling a part for Kore. They'd kidnapped Jules and made a random criminal into a vampire. The full moon was only days away. Kore struggled because she knew she had to tell Bonnie the truth about who Fredrik was before everything happened. "Do you want me to be with you?" he asked her the day she planned to tell Bonnie.
"No. I don't think it would be helpful. It's my fault. I have to deal with it."
Kore sat down with Bonnie over dinner. "What's the bad news?" Bonnie asked her as they were finishing up.
"What do you mean?"
"You literally made everything I love. You made white chocolate dipped baklava and you hate white chocolate."
"But you love it."
'Which leads me to believe something is wrong."
"Umm, not wrong per say. I want to explain to you why I didn't search for a solution that kills Klaus nor a solution where the sacrifice didn't have to take place."
"Okay," Bonnie said hesitantly.
"Fredrik is a Mikaelson," she said and Bonnie's mouth fell open, "He's the twin of Klaus. So the sacrifice isn't just for Klaus it's also-"
"For Fredrik. That's why the stone was two stones melded together. They're both cursed."
"Yes. And he didn't tell me at first. But as soon as I decided to help him, I should have told you."
"So you're helping them because of Fredrik?"
"I- He came out of nowhere, Bonnie. But my levels of help would have been about the same. You would not have been able to be involved. I would have only saved her afterwards. But, Fredrik knows me. He loves me. That's not something I've had before. I worked for both." Bonnie stood up angrily and stormed into the living room but Kore followed right after her.
"But can't you see what you've done. You wanted to make sure they succeeded. Why do they deserve this?"
"It's not about deserving anything. Things were taken from them too. And I couldn't imagine having a part of myself missing."
"I want my magic back," Bonnie said, and Kore chewed on her lip. Honestly it wouldn't be a good idea.
"What do you plan on doing with it? Because besides helping Elena, I am not getting involved in the actual sacrifice. I won't be there."
"Who is breaking the spell?"
"Greta Martin. So tell me, if I give you your magic back, will I have to show up and protect you from Klaus?"
"And Fredrik."
"He wouldn't hurt you and you know it. He would protect you."
"Even if that meant fighting his twin brother?"
"I think so. They have a complicated relationship, the Mikaelsons," Kore said with a frown on her face.
"Right, Elijah is trying to kill Klaus. Does that mean he's trying to kill Fredrik too?"
"I don't think that's his main but he wants to be able to kill him too, yes."
"So what are you going to do?"
"I don't know yet. I'm trying to figure that out. I can give you your magic back. But, please stay out of it."
"Are you going to do the spell to save Elena?"
"Yes. I need the person that I'm trading the life for. But I'm going to do it." Bonnie sighed and went to sit down.
"Okay. Then I promise I will stay out of it." Kore sat down next to Bonnie.
