A/N: Just letting you know the previous chapter is all you'll see of Percy Jackson. We're on a plot rollercoaster with a completely different path.

Months later, Kore was still thinking about a doctorate when a ghost appeared in her room. She looked up and she squinted her eyes. The woman was so young but so familiar. "Momma?" she asked in a voice that transported her back to being two years old. The woman nodded, tears coming down her face. Kore stood and rushed to hug her. Tears spilled as she realized why she was in the Underworld. "What happened?" she finally got the breath to ask.

"You need to go to her. To Bonnie," Sheila said quickly. Kore was confused.

"Abby's daughter? Why?" She'd heard that Abby had gotten married. But the sisters hadn't spoken. It was like they didn't exist to each other. Kore looked at her mother who seemed ashamed.

"It's my fault. Me being here." Kore wanted to ask her what she meant. But there was a falling of flowers and in its path, Persephone appeared.

"Love?" Persephone tilted her head to the side as she saw Sheila. "I thought I sensed you. What are you doing here? The Fates predicted many more years."

"Sometimes things change in an instant. Do you want me to leave?" she asked with a smirk on her face. Kore didn't know if it was cute or gross.

"Of course not. He'll be so happy to see you." Kore backed away as Persephone cupped Sheila's face.

"Are you happy to see me?" Sheila asked her.

"Of course."

"As cute as this is, I guess I have to pack. I have a niece to check on. We'll talk later."

Kore arrived topside the day before her mother's funeral. She hadn't aged but she was sure the world was still shit. Her mother's house became hers. She walked inside and began to conjure things to redecorate it a little. Plants grew, magical and non magical. Blue flames lit up the fireplace. Only a day had passed, not even a night when Bonnie arrived.

Bonnie came inside to a whole new house. She was shocked to see it already occupied. "Who are you?" She asked of the young barefoot woman who looked to be barely older than her in tight jeans, a midnight blue corset top, black leather jacket and tons of silver jewelry. She was tall with a head full of perfect midnight blue coils. Some lighter than others like fire.

"Kore. Your Aunt. And godmother." she said, gesturing to herself.

"But I have never met you before. Where have you been for the last sixteen years?"

"Away. Only Momma could talk to me and see me," she said in a mixed accent that was part British and part American. She walked over to where she'd put the grimoires. Grabbing one, she then settled in a chair to read it.

"Grams saw you? She talked about you all the time but I thought it was one of those crazy person things she did." Kore's head snapped up.

"My mum wasn't crazy!" She got aggressive. Her eyes were almost glowing. Then they calmed just as fast, "She was a witch. An amazing one." Kore fixed the hair that went misplaced, "It made her eccentric. What do you know? You used her for the craft only when you needed it. And her. But you know nothing. Nothing of reverence. Of who and what you call on."

"I know I messed up." Kore didn't know how her mother died but she knew it was magic related. It was the only thing that would change Fate.

"You did. But I am not upset solely with you. In addition, my mother is in the Underworld with her loves. She is happy and youthful again. She will stay there until her soul wishes to reincarnate. But going forward, O will become upset with you if you live in your ignorance. If you don't work to change it. Do not just use witchcraft for the benefit of others. Because witchcraft has a bite."
