Kore thought she was finally getting through to Bonnie. Then Bonnie would do something to tell her that she wasn't listening at all. Kore had refused to allow Bonnie to help them anymore than they already had. But she knew that it was likely an event was coming up in Mystic Falls. So a scheme was abound. It was the Lockwood Masquerade Ball and Kore had ordered dresses online for both her and Bonnie in their sizes. She was bringing the boxes to Bonnie to hear her talking on the phone.

"I told her I'm going. So I'll just meet you all there. I have to bring the book." Bonnie said. Kore rolled her eyes as she knocked on the door. "I gotta go." Kore opened the door when Bonnie called out. She looked over at the door with an uneasy smile, "Hey, Aunt Kore. What's up?"

"What are you up to?"

"Nothing."

"Sure." Kore said.

Later that night, she knew she had to follow Bonnie. They went to the grill and Kore was about to go in when she saw Damon and Mason getting into it and Bonnie created an aneurysm that knocked out Mason. She followed them as they dropped off Bonnie then headed to the Salvatore place.

Kore waited until Damon dragged in the body to get out. She kicked open the heavy wood door. Damon looked at her in shock as she walked in. "You're lucky I didn't blow it up. I hate when people don't listen to me. And you dragged my niece into it?" she asked. Damon dropped to the floor, gripping his head. Kore went to untie Mason from wolfsbane soaked ropes. Kore saw wolfsbane around. She turned to Damon. "Incendia." The fireplace lit on fire. Her eyes glowed silver. "Stick your hand into the flame." He couldn't fight it and he did as she told him. Mason watched as he struggled to get his strength back. Damon's hand burned and he tried to fight the special compulsion.

"Stop, please," Damon cried out.

"Did you stop?" But she eventually did. Damon had nothing but charred bones on his hand and should have been lucky the flames didn't spread. She helped Mason get up, "Next time you don't listen to me, I'm killing you but only after I torture you. And trust it won't be as mundane as a little vervain." She dragged him out.

"You're really a witch?" Mason asked as they drove up to the Lockwood place.

"I am."

"Powerful."

"Yes, I am."

Kore got back home to Bonnie pretending to be normal. "Hey, where have you been?"

"Saving a friend's life. Seems I had to do that because you put him in danger."

"Wait, Aunt Kore, Damon just wanted to talk to him."

"Just talk? Because he had wolfsbane. Mason wasn't leaving that place alive. I didn't think you were that stupid."

"I-"

"I don't want to hear it. Tomorrow afternoon, we need to head to Charlottesville to get the plane back to Los Angeles so we can get our hair done. I am not talking to you until then." Bonnie got up quickly. She was a little hurt and nervous.

"Why are we going all the way there?"

"Because only one person touches my hair. Don't worry. We'll be back the same. We're going to sleep on the plane."

"But-"

"Do you not want your hair done?"

"I do."

"Great," she said and was still so angry she didn't want to say anything else. Not yet.

They got to the airfield the next day and were shuffled onto the small jet quickly. Kore knew it was almost ten hours of flying to spend five to seven hours in Los Angeles but she needed to get out of Mystic Falls again. She was starting to hate the place even more. Bonnie was drowsy as they arrived in LA. Kore had rented a car for the day. "Let's go," she said, dragging Bonnie along as she sighed and yawned.
