It was around 8:30pm when the door to the house opened and Karen, Dorinda, and my wife walked through the door. A wave of relief rushed over a nigga as I rushed to hug my wife. I pulled her close and held her waist as I inhaled her scent.

"Babe, I'm okay." Jacky laughed as I peppered kissed all up and down her neck. I placed my hand on her stomach as I looked into her eyes.

"Don't ever leave yo nigga that long again. You know that I can't breathe without you."

"Simp." Smoke muttered.

"Nigga, shut up. You know you missed yo wife too." Dave said, smacking Smoke in the back of the head as he walked over to Karen.

I chuckled and so did Jacky as she grabbed my ears and kissed me. We embraced for a few moments as I held her against me feeling her body against mine. I placed my hand on her Georgia peach and smacked it making her moan slightly before she pulled away tugging on my bottom lip.

"Now we see how that baby was made. Mhmmm." Dorinda whispered.

Jacky laughed before she spoke again.

"Baby, I have a surprise for you. I want to tell you the truth about why I was gone so long, but first I want to prepare you."

"Does this surprise involve the bed?" I asked.

"Nigga, can you calm down and act like yo brain on straight for a minute. You usually the reserved one and Dave and I are the hornballs. What done crawled into you and ignited yo fire?" Smoke asked.

"Distance and the love that I got for my baby. The love that I had for her multiplied when I found out a nigga was gon' be a father. I thought I loved her before.... Ion think I ever knew a love like this before."

Aww's were heard around the room as Jacky blushed and Smoke gagged.

"Get a room bruh dang."

"This our house nigga, you can get out foo." I snapped. Jacky chuckled before speaking.

"Look baby I have a surprise for you. Close your eyes for me, okay?"

"Aite." I said, licking my lips. A nigga was expecting her to plant a kiss on me, but what I got in return was something unexpected.

Opening my eyes, I saw my baby sister standing in front of me with a young girl beside her. I fell speechless as tears filled Journee's eyes. A nigga felt a mixture of anger, sadness, and betrayal.

"J-Jay... aren't you happy to see me?" Journee asked. I scoffed before walking off.

"Jayceon!" Journée yelled.

"Baby! Give us a moment."

Walking into the backyard, I punched the fence before running my hands down my face. I sat on the grass as I put my face in my hands and sniffled. Feeling hands on my back, I knew that Jacky had came out and was trying to see where my head was.

"Babe... talk to me. Tell me what's wrong. I thought this would make you happy. Did I do something wrong?" Jacky asked.

Sniffling, I stayed quiet making her grab my face softly and look into my eyes.

"Talk to me..."

"Ma, it's been over two decades since I saw her. The fact that a nigga life changed because of her and she never took the time to apologize pisses me off. I know I'm suppose to forgive her, but it still hurts." I confessed.

Jacky put her head on mine as she exhaled and inhaled before speaking.

"I know you're still hurt over this, but maybe her being so willing to come with me was God's way of saying that this is the open door for you to let go of the past hurt and move forward? Would you be willing to talk to her and get everything off your chest? Please, for me if not for me for yourself. You need your sister baby. I know it may not feel or seem like it, but you need her. If you're willing will you have the conversation?"
