Hyunjin's POV:-

Night arrived sooner than anticipated, enveloping the villa in a blanket of Twilight hues. It had been hours since our arrival, and the warmth of my grandparents' welcome still lingered in the air. Their smiles, filled with love, seemed to light up the entire place, just as they had in my childhood memories.

Now, I found myself resting on the bench nestled in the backyard, the gentle breeze carrying whispers of coolness against my skin. Surrounded by the serenity of nature, I couldn't help but savour the moment. While everyone else had stayed indoors, I chose to linger outside, enjoying the peace and quiet while Kkami slept on my laps.

This place felt more like home than the one I lived in. My grandparents showered me with an abundance of love, evident in every corner of their home. Framed drawings, crafted by my younger self, adorned the walls like cherished art pieces.

They had dedicated an entire room to me, lovingly referred to as "Hyunjin's Art Room," where an array of drawing materials awaited my creative touch.

Felix, who had been initially nervous about meeting them, now sat comfortably, engaged in conversation with my grandmother as if they had known each other for years.

She told us about the only time she had seen Felix when he was born, and his parents had invited her for blessings and celebrations.

I heard footsteps approaching, and as I opened my eyes, I saw Seungmin making his way towards me, a warm smile adorning his face as he balanced a plate in his hands.

I shifted slightly, being mindful not to disturb Kkami. Seungmin settled in beside me offering me a bite, and I accepted it with a smile. "Why cake now?" I inquired, curious about the sudden dessert.

"The Sunshine twins were craving something sweet, so grandma brought out the cake for them," Seungmin explained, continuing to feed me as my hands were busy patting Kkami slowly.

I nodded in response because I could definitely imagine my grandmother being happy that someone is willingly asking her for something to eat otherwise she would always force me to eat whatever she made saying how I've gotten thin.

He chuckled softly. "Your boyfriend is going to kill me," he remarked. "Why?" I inquired. "Grandma wanted someone to bring you this plate, and just like old times, she teased me, saying, 'Minnie, could you please take this plate and go feed your Jinnie?' " he explained. I couldn't help but laugh at her playful antics.

I didn't come out to her but once upon a time Seungmin had a crush on me which she noticed faster than me. We did get into a relationship but it lasted for two months because soon enough we realised we were better off as friends and that's something she didn't know.

"Guess I'll have to tell her about Felix soon, or she'll keep teasing and Felix might end up plotting my murder," I said with a laugh. "Yeah, trust me, he was giving me quite the death glare," Seungmin replied, mimicking Felix's disapproving expression.

"What about me though? Am I still your crush?" I teased, watching his cheeks flush with embarrassment. "Oh, come on. Let's not talk about our embarrassing past feelings and relationships," he muttered. "But hey, remember this bench? It's where we had our first kiss," I said mischievously, having fun teasing him.

"Alright, that's it. You're getting murdered," he joked. I couldn't help but laugh even harder. "Okay, okay, I'm sorry," I managed to say between fits of laughter.

As the peaceful atmosphere settled around us, Seungmin broke the silence. "How's everything going between you and Lix?" he asked softly, offering me another bite of cake which I gladly accepted. I hummed thoughtfully before answering, "It's going pretty well. I couldn't ask for anything better."
