Felix's POV:-

It's been a whole week since Hyunjin was admitted to the hospital. We're all gathered around in his room, trying to make him feel better by playing some silly board games. Although he still has to receive his IV vitals, medications, and injections, there are moments when he's unhooked and can move around a little.

I'm seated next to him on the bed, while the others are lounging on the couch or chairs.

"I swear, I didn't cheat!" I exclaimed dramatically. Well, maybe I did, but let's just keep that between us.

"Stop lying, Felix," San chimed in.

San is Hyunjin's new assistant, hired by his dad. He's a year older than me, just like Hyunjin. He's friendly, muscular, and always does everything punctually. When our group members got to know that he's just like us they made sure that he feels included whenever he's with us. Personally, though, I can't stand him.

Hyunjin lets out a chuckle, nodding in agreement with San. "Yeah Lixie, he's right ."

I can feel a pang of jealousy creeping in as Hyunjin sides with San. It's ridiculous, really. Why am I feeling threatened by someone who's just here to help out?

"Yeah, okay, I'm out," I muttered. I sat on the bed, choosing to remain quiet as a way to manage the jealousy getting the best of me.

As the game resumed around me, I found myself lost in a swirl of conflicting emotions. With San's presence, I couldn't cling to Hyunjin like I usually did. I had to stop myself, keeping my hands to myself and refraining from the playful nicknames we exchanged.

Instead of the usual endearments, I had to settle for hearing my name being called by him. It frustrated me to no end.
The reason we didn't do these things in front of him was because he was too loyal to Mr Hwang and he was ready to tell each and every detail to him saying it's his job. Also at the same time, me and Hyunjin weren't ready to tell anyone else about us except our friends or people who we trusted like Mr and Mrs Lee, Minho's parents.

As the night went on, everyone agreed it was time for Hyunjin to get some rest, and for the rest to head home and return tomorrow after university classes.

"Lix, are you planning to stay, or would you like me to?" Minho inquired. "It's okay hyung, I'll stay," I responded with a smile. "Just give me a call if you need anything," he said, and I nodded in agreement.

That's how it has been for a week. I stayed the night here, or Minho Hyung did sometimes.

As the others bid their goodbyes and the room fell into a comforting silence, I rose from the bed and quietly locked the door. With a soft click, it was just me and Hyunjin left in the cocoon of the hospital room.

"What's on your mind, my princess?" Hyunjin's voice broke through the silence as he settled back onto the bed. The nickname sent a flutter through my heart because no matter how many times he used those names, I couldn't get enough. "Nothing," I replied softly, my fingers tracing invisible patterns on the blanket.

"Come here," he spoke, his arms open wide in invitation.

"It might hurt you if I lay down next to you," I protested softly.

He shook his head gently, a tender smile playing on his lips. "I promise it won't. And it would hurt me more if my baby doesn't listen to me," he murmured.

Slowly, I moved closer, feeling the weight of his arms enveloping me in a protective embrace. The familiar scent of his cologne enveloped me, calming my racing thoughts and soothing my restless soul.

His gentle hands caressed my hair. I reciprocated his gesture, placing my hands delicately on his waist, mindful not to exert too much pressure and cause him discomfort.
