Felix's POV :-
Sunlight streamed through the window, rousing me from my sleep. As I blinked awake, I felt an unusual heaviness in my body. Glancing around, my gaze settled on Hyunjin, his arms snug around my waist.
I couldn't help but smile as I leaned in to kiss his forehead gently. "Mm.. Good morning, baby," he murmured in his husky morning voice.
"Morning," I replied softly. "What time is it?" he asked, still half-asleep. Checking the clock on the nightstand, I replied, "7:30."
"We still have thirty minutes... Grandma wakes up at 8," he mumbled, his eyes still closed.
I brushed a strand of hair away from his forehead, savouring the peaceful moment. The warmth of his embrace and the soft morning light filled me with a sense of comfort.
"You want to stay here a bit longer?" I asked, running my fingers lightly over his hair. He hummed softly in response, nestling closer to me.
I glanced at the clock again. "I want to get ready for the day though," Hyunjin shook his head slightly, his grip around my waist tightening, "please not now,"
I leaned down to kiss his cheek. "Come on, sleepyhead Let me go," I squirmed.
"Shh," he whispered as I whined and wiggled my body.
He opened his eyes, and I couldn't help but smile mischievously. "Let me gooo," I whined playfully. In an instant, he maneuvered, shifting positions and hovering over me, pinning my hands against the headboard.
"Hey, that's cheating," I pouted.
Resting his head on my chest, he closed his eyes again. "That's not cheating, that's you being a brat," he retorted, eliciting a smile from me.
"I'll start crying if you keep this up," I teased.
Suddenly, he opened his eyes, releasing my hands and looking at me with concern. "Did I do something wrong? I'm sor-" Before he could finish, I turned the tables, gently pushing him down as I straddled him.
"Nope, you were right about me being a brat," I said with a smile, leaning down to capture his lips with mine. His hands explored my body, his smile evident in our tender yet passionate kiss.
"You're my brat though," he whispered between kisses, his fingers tangling in my already tousled hair. "Mhm, I like the sound of that," I whispered back. "Oh yeah, of course you do," he replied, and we both chuckled softly.
Deciding to indulge in the moment, I settled against his chest, listening to his heartbeat and syncing it with my own as my arms encircled his waist. "I would do anything to wake up like this every single day," he suddenly whispered, causing warmth to spread across my face.
"Simple, just marry me and your wish will come true," I replied impulsively. Wait, did I just say that? Lee Felix, what the hell...
As expected, his eyes shot open. "Wait, really? You'd marry me right now?" His excitement was palpable. I got up, leaving him lying on the bed as he whined. Heading towards the bathroom, I replied with a teasing smile, "Maybe."
I closed the bathroom door behind me, leaning against it as I tried to process what had just slipped out of my mouth. "Maybe?" Seriously, Felix, what were you thinking? But then again, maybe I wasn't entirely opposed to the idea. I splashed some water on my face, hoping it would clear my mind as much as it did my complexion.
Through the closed door, I could hear Hyunjin's muffled protests. "Lixie c'mon, don't leave me hanging like this!" His playful tone tugged at my heartstrings, making me smile despite my nerves.
