Felix's POV :-
"Do you think it's okay to use someone's real feelings to get what you want?" I asked Jisung, who lay beside me on my bed, absorbed in his phone. "Absolutely not," came his firm reply. "What if the other person has done worse to you, and now you're doing it as revenge?" I pondered, staring up at the ceiling. "If that person has done worse to you, then you already know how it feels, and I don't think revenge can heal someone's heart," he reasoned, placing his phone on the nightstand beside my bed.
"Damn, Ji, when did you become so wise?" I quipped with a smile. "Since childhood, my kid," he answered proudly. His demeanour shifted suddenly as he inquired, "What are you up to?" "Nothing much, just reading a book, and couldn't shake off the plot, so I asked you," I lied smoothly.
I wish it were just a book and not my reality. It's been three days since I met Hyunjin. I've been observing him and Kevin for a while now, and I've finally devised a plan to pit them against each other instead of being the victim of their games. I didn't care about Hyunjin anymore; his words and comfort since I arrived meant nothing to me. He thinks he can manipulate me into doing anything for him, but the truth is, I've been waiting for him to try and win me back.
Kevin is blindly obsessed with Hyunjin. He targeted me since our teenage years because I was closest to Hyunjin. He would do anything to me but wouldn't dare lay a finger on Hyunjin. He could never hurt him. He wants me to do something so Hyunjin will start talking to him again, or else he'll continue blackmailing me about one of my secrets, just like he has been doing for the past five years.
I think I'm finally ready to close this chapter. I'll make Hyunjin feel what I felt years ago, but before that, I'll tell him about Kevin and enlist his help to get rid of him because he's the only one who can handle him.
"Minho Hyung is coming over, do you need anything?" Jisung's cheerful voice broke through my thoughts.
Contemplating the idea of cooking dinner, I hesitated to burden Minho with an errand. "Actually, I was thinking of making dinner for us. Do you think it'd be too much to ask him to run an errand for me?" I asked. "Hell no, just share the list of things you'll need," Han replied.
Still uncertain about asking for help, I hesitated, "Are you sure? It's okay. I can go myself," not wanting to inconvenience anyone. "C'mon, I promise he'd love to help you. Do you think he'd have asked me to ask you if you needed anything if he didn't want to help you?" Jisung replied convincingly.
Growing comfortable with Minho's company, I saw him as the elder brother I had always wished for. I felt happy knowing about his relationship with Ji. Although they hadn't officially started dating, their connection was undeniable.
"Fine, I'll share the list," I agreed, finally yielding to Jisung's persuasion, and quickly shared the list of needed items from my phone. "That's my good boy," He said with a smile, and I couldn't help but chuckle at his remark. Sometimes, I had this thought that if Jisung and Minho didn't have feelings for each other, I might have considered marrying him instead. "Yeah, whatever," I replied, trying to brush off the idea. With a grin on my face, I headed towards the kitchen, eager to start cooking.
After almost an hour, the doorbell rang, "I'll get it," Jisung chirped, springing up from the couch with his usual enthusiasm. I chuckled at his eagerness and settled back onto the cushions, awaiting their return.
"Why are you here?" Jisung's voice rang out from the doorway. Concerned, I hurried over to see what was going on, only to find Hyunjin standing there with two bulging grocery bags. "Your boyfriend needed me to help," Hyunjin quipped, breezing past Jisung's protest and into the kitchen, where he kept the bags on the counter.
