The man very slowly walks into the town, reeking as the townspeople watched.

"Who- are you?" A butcher asked the man.

"I am here for, a word. With the mayor. Take me to your leader would you?" The man asked.

"I'm afraid we can't do that around here." Another voice says, the man turning around and seeing a man with a cowboy hat and holding a large rifle, the sheriff looking up at the man, "And you... You look like shit. Smell like it too, and that's a understatement." The sheriff says.

"Yes, it is a substance unknown to you all. Ever been far?" The man says.

"Never. None of us have gone even 5 M's outside the city, except the ol' man." The Sheriff says.

"Good, I want to speak to him."

"Now hold it right there, because we can't do that for you it seems." The sheriff says.

"Why not?"

"Because, it appears to me, that you are not trustworthy. Stranger, and wherever you come from, it doesn't seem real. Seems, fake. It is, ain't it?" The sheriff says, beggining to hold the gun tightly.

"You two- you must listen. You have to move out, both of you!" The butcher says, now closing the shop.

"And who're you to command me?" The man says.

"I'm one of the oldest residents, you fight around you won't like it when I fight back- or we do." The butcher says, now holding something under the counter. The man chuckles.

"And how old are you? Twenty eight? That is nothing."

"Years." The butcher says.

The man suddenly stopping, before continuing to laugh, "My- I'm so sorry!" The man says sarcastically.

"What's so funny!" The sheriff says.

"Oh.. you all wouldn't get it. Jeez.. I haven't laughed in-" the man stops, staring now blankly at the ground. He looks around, seeing as slowly the town closes down all doors. The doors closing down and quickly it goes quiet, the butcher now going nervous, "Tell me, what do you people think I did?" The man asks.

"You did something, and that's about it. All it takes is one little mistake and that's it. One thing and it changes everything." The sheriff said as he stared down at the man.

"Let's calm down than, why not go somewhere nice? I heard that banker over there is good to start. Maybe cut some meat up over here too while we're at it." The man says.

"You know what you did..." The sheriff says, getting a odd smell that almost seemed familiar.

"Did what?"

"You know what. That young man... What did you do to him?"

"Young man?"

"I mean the man with the hat, rode on the animal. He went out to find the boy, the cowboy. What did you do to him? I got that strange scent of him off of you." The sheriff points at the man directly now.

"I didn't do anything, I don't know what you could ever possibly mean." The man responds back

"Bastard... Whatever you're doing, it's not going to work on us. We're good, smart, civilized people." The sheriff says.

"Civilized? You call living in this desert civilized? How many people live here anyways?"

"Why- the whole world lives here. We know everything about this place mister. And I think you need to go see the doctor. Got something in your head." The sheriff says.
