Chapter 44

"The killer‽" Brick turns, seeing a man with completely white skin and black hair, as well as blood staining around his lips as he held a clean kitchen knife.

"Where is she... Where is she.." The man says, slowly revealing himself more and more. His clothes stained with blood as he looked up at them.

"That's not the one we're looking for. The one we're looking for uses a gun and only a gun. And likely may be multiple..."

"I say we take him down than! Mohammad, trap him!" Daw says, sand coming out the ground and it encases around the bloodied killer.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you..." He smiles.

"Why is that? You creepy bastard!" Daw says.

"I can have you all killed... I can. Shall I demonstrate my prowess?"

"Prowess?" Daw says, suddenly multiple knives during out. The sand raising from the ground and stopping the knives, "Where's he getting all those knives?"

"I don't think this guy is normal... He must have a power as well!"

"They're everywhere! How can so many have a power?" Daw says.

Brick was hiding out behind cover, as they continued their fight, "Take this guy out! Take him! Take him!" Mohammad says, hitting the man with his sand. The man running back from the sand.

"First of all... I'm not a guy. I'm Jeff.. and you will not survive this encounter. But if you do, I will haunt you down for the rest of your life. You will never again sleep soundly, you will have me on your trail constantly. I will not leave you alone... I will not die." Suddenly a large wave of knives fires out, multiple of them passing by Mohammad and cutting him.

Daw looks at Mohammad, "You okay?"

"Yes..."

"John, you need to do something right now!" Daw says.

"Shut your mouth and let me concentrate!" John says, raising up from the vehicle and shooting a bullet. The bullet fires and misses, passing through a building and making a large hole through the entire building as it passes through.

"That would've been... Lethal. This guy also has a power... I have to- be careful." Jeff says, moving behind a pillar.

"Perfect, behind cover. Just what I need." John fires another bullet, the bullet tearing through the pillar completely.

"Behind you!" Brick yells, suddenly Jeff leaping in the air and stabbing John's back. His back being torn as the knife hacks right through his flesh and clothes. He runs forward as Jeff runs back, John in pain as he falls back.

"Stupid crook.. he got me. Got me- good!" John says, looking as Jeff runs.

"I'm not going to let this happen! He will not escape this village!" Daw says, shooting a beam of light at Jeff.

Jeff turning and using the blade of the knife to bend the light right back at them. Sand coming from the ground and just barely blocking the light from hitting them, "Don't use it no more, it's no match. We have to let him go!" Mohammad says.

"If we let him go he'll kill more! He's crazy! Do you see how dangerous he is? He's got a unlimited supply of knives, he's sneaky, he-"

"He'll find us again. And when he does we'll obliterate him. We have to save the officer before it-"

"No.. I won't let him.. get away!" John stands up, raising his pistol at Jeff, "He stabbed me.. he's not getting anywhere! Nobody stabs me in the back! Nobody!" John fires at Jeff, his shots missing and creating enormous holes in the ground, before finally one of the shots going through him. The gunshot however was normal in size and it still doesn't stop Jeff as he runs out of distance. John kneels to the ground, bleeding and breathing heavily, "One.. shot." He says on the ground.
