Chapter 57

"Mein Herz Brennt"

The eyes of Otto igniting suddenly. His mind becoming intertwined as something controlled it. His progress as a recovering porn addict had been for nothing, as from that moment forward he had begun his escape from the rehabilitation center.

"MEIN HERZ BRENNT!"

A flame ignited form the ground. Reiki sees the flame, looking up at it. Reiki clears his tears, breathing in and out as he sees the small spark flying to the air, "Hono.. Hono.. come on.. be there. For me. Where are you going.. is there somewhere after death? Can- Can I die?"

The flame than rapidly expands, a loud and deep and incredibly masculine voice now screams form the flame, "MEIN HERZ BRENNT"

Suddenly in the air rematerializes Markus, this time wearing a full suit of shining golden armor and in his hands a chain, "BEHOLD! THE POWER OF ME IN HERZ BRENNT! MY HEART BURNS, AND AS LONG AS IT BURNS I WILL KEEP COMING!" Markus said, with a crooked smile as he lands on the ground and with the chain on hand. It was the same chain he had given to Jason, he had retrieved the chain back.

"This man.. HE KILLED HONO!" Rai yells.

"Killed? I was only defending myself! Was I not? Just as you did to Jason.. you killed him, without mercy! And I killed her too without mercy. So are we not even‽" Markus says.

"You can't get away. You will never get your way Markus!" Rai says.

"My way? I will. I will get it fairly, or through force." Markus says.

"Markus... MARKUS.. MARKUS!" Reiki began yelling angrily. Reiki runs into a corner, his body begining to move strangely and jittering in and out of the corner.

"Reiki, what's he doing‽" Johan immediately points out.

Postal grabs Brick's shoulder, "Brick.. we've got something coming our way right now. My diamond eyes see it... But there's this- this thing coming quickly towards us. And it's filled with people. The entire city is under lockdown, and this thing is heading right for us." Postal says.

"Yes, I'll be aware. But whatever is going on, it has to end. Or else thousands, and perhaps millions may perish today." Brick says.

"Reiki? What is this‽" Sai asks.

"I'M GOING TO ---- AND ----- ON --- ------- -----! I AM -------- --------!" Reiki's very language began to distort as his body moved in and out of the wall of the corner he was moving quickly in and out of.

"Whatever he's doing, IT'S NOT GOING TO SAVE YOU ALL!" Markus slams down the chain onto them. Rai quickly moves in, cutting the chain completely off. The chain still continues on, wrapping around Rai and grasping onto her tightly.

"H-HELP! HELP!!!!!" Rai screamed for her very life, the chain grabbing tightly onto her.

"RAI!!! I CAN'T LET THIS HAPPEN!!! I CAN'T!" Johan cries out. Rai than being completely crushed by the chain, thus causing a time loop. Looping them all the way to when Markus was about to slam the chain onto them.

"Rai! Now! Cut the chain again!" Johan calls out.

Rai's body laid there completely lifeless, "IT'S NOT GOING TO SAVE YOU ALL!" Markus smashes the chain down onto Rai. Clairo just barely stepping in the way of the chains, reaching out her replacement arm and shrinking the chains down to nothingness, her replacement arm being almost completely destroyed in a touch.

"RAI!" Clairo runs to Rai, her face and body lifeless, "Rai.. Rai.. Rai! Get up- get up! C'mon! You-" Clairo feels her pulse. There was nothing, her eyes still wide open and her mouth gaping wide open. Her blood stopped in place, her life was lost, "Guys.. she- she.. she's dead." Clairo's eye's looked in complete shock.
