Chapter 59

5 Months later

"No president still.. looks like the time is finally coming. 2025 President, here they come!" Noir says enthusiastically as he sits behind the center which there are numerous computers and desks all which are completely empty. Only people in the room was the group themselves as they began to plan out their plan against their newest threat.

"Here it is, the time's come. We've been tracking this group for just about a year already. This terrorist group aims for one goal, complete and utter chaos. This group is singlehandedly the greatest threat in the world right now and is at the brink of ending us all. From breaking into the nuclear arm's systems of every country in the world and taking and completely disarming all nuclear devices from the planet, to wiping out several hundreds in their reign of terror. Currently they're moving through the Alaskan area, moving quickly and well on their way towards a unknown location." Sarge explains, the group all rounded around the table.

"Perfect... Passed right by us. Missed the opportunity to take out these guys." Johan comments.

"This is all about opportunity, chance, and skill. It's very likely right now that they have several other users of power in their group, as shown by the extreme amount of activity they're in." Vahilda says.

"Chose the coldest time of the year too, seems like some poor planning." Sai says.

"Or perfect time for whatever it is they're planning. Anyhow, we need to get there. And the best way is-" Clairo turns to Vahilda.

"Yeah yeah, let me just get some gear on before I freeze to death out there."

The group than began boarding, all of them ready and trained for combat as they enter inside the plane that Vahilda had turned into.

"We should be there soon, tracking their location down and triangulating it. We're approaching quickly the very edges of Alaska." Sarge says.

"Ah- there's something down there! It's glowing! A flare! Isn't that strange? Someone lost or what not?" Clairo says, looking out the window and down onto the ground.

"A flare?" Adele looks down, there was a light that shines bright there on the ground. The light than shining brighter and brighter.

"What's that coming‽" Johan yells out.

"ROCKET!" Sarge exclaims. The plane diving down, dodging the rocket and as it dives down they all jump out the plane and dive straight to the ground, with them all being taken to the ground by a portal from Sai.

The group lands on the ground, as Vahilda transforms back and lands on the ground alongside them, "Could it be them?" Vahilda says.

"This could very well be them.. everyone on guard!" Sarge yells out, the group all looking as there was a complete silence while they await the enemy.

"What if I told you, the very enemy you're looking for, is me? Right here." A voice came from behind a tree, as out stepped a single man wearing tons of winter gear.

"He's right there!" Reiki yells out, being taken back as they see this singular man.

"That's right, me! Nobody else... Just me, and it seems you all came for a big fight. Too bad it's not going to happen, this fight will be short, simple, and quick. Try and attack me."

Reiki takes out his sword, moving towards the man, "STOP!" Postal yells, Reiki stopping before getting too close to the man, "That man is named Linus.. power, Luftballons. He completely controls the environment within 10 meters of him. He can install 3 laws upon the 10 meters close by. He likely wants you to attack him so it can deflect or damage you in some way." Postal explains.
