Chapter 21

Exterminator raises back up, now laughing.

"What the hell did he do!" Abram says.

"BEHOLD! THE CROWN AGAIN PROVES IT'S POWER! NOW RISE- CEE RISE!" Exterminator looks at Cee, her injuries healing immediately and she gets back up.

"NOW THE FIRST ONE TO GO- WILL BE YOU." Exterminator points at Abram, swiping his finger away, banishing Abram.

"ABRAM!" They exclaim.

"NOW I BEHOLD ONTO YOU, MY OWN DIMENSION WHICH YOU WILL BE FOREVER IN, STUCK AND TORTURED!" Exterminator raises his hands, taking away Grey and the Founder.

The two reappear, now in a limitless void of nothing that they reside in along with the Exterminator. The Exterminator stood tall and the gem glowing brightly on his head as he levitated confidently, "You.. what did you do to him.. you killed my friend! YOU KILLED MY BEST FRIEND YOU BASTARD!" Oliver raises his gun, Exterminator lifting his hand and the gun exploding on his face, completely taking off his jaw and parts of his neck and upper chest.

"This can't- it- it can't be..!" Grey says, looking in disbelief.

"BUT IT IS! IT IS! THE UNIVERSE WAS MADE TO BE THIS WAY! TO BELONG TO ME!" Exterminator raises his fist.

Suddenly a white orb quickly forming behind the Exterminator and out the white orb a incredibly tall winged glowing humanoid figure appears, wielding a flaming sword, "That's the angel.. the last line of defense- before the Scarlet King." Grey says.

"SO THOSE OF YOU HAVE COME- TO PERSECUTE ME? WHEN I HAVE THE REAL GOD BEFORE ME!" Exterminator blocks the angel's sword with one finger. The angel than trying to strike him down numerous times more, Exterminator phasing through the attacks as they cast a red hot line through him. Exterminator than holding out his hand, slowing the angel down to a speed they could all see, before creating a visceral shotgun out of thin air. The shotgun glowing bright blue and transparent with a incredibly long barrel, the shotgun firing s the angel and unleashing what looked like stars.

Thousands of star like pellets flying at the angel, completely destroying it, "He's unstoppable.." The Founder says. The Exterminator still staring on.

Suddenly more and more orbs appearing, as tens of the angel's all come out before him, all teaming up to fight against him, "SO I'M OVERWHELMED? WHY DOES IT MATTER IF YOU'RE LESS THAN ME- ALL OF YOU ARE!" Exterminator than spreading out his arms and legs, letting the angel's strike him.

"We're stuck.. it's like we're in a perpetual nightmare with nothing we can do! He's like some sort of- well.. he's unstoppable!"

The Founder stops, "Maybe he is."

"Huh?" Grey looks at him.

"Maybe the best thing to do sometimes, is to give up."

"Are you kidding me.. you can't mean- You're giving up?" Grey looked at the Founder in disbelief, almost angered.

"Why do we fight? For this world which is cursed, constantly facing threats, anomalies everywhere. We fight for the scraps of a world which we had a vision, a world we never truly lived in. Doomed, I believe we are doomed. But is that necessarily a terrible thing?"

Grey clenches his fist, "You mean to say you're doomed.. you don't know anything about doomed. YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING!"

"Do not lash out at me-"

"You think you're doomed? Do you know what I've went through.. DO YOU KNOW HOW FUCKED I AM! I VOWED THAT I WILL NEVER AGAIN LET SOMETHING LIKE THAT HAPPEN AGAIN! DO YOU HEAR! I WOULD RATHER DIE, OVER, AND OVER, AND OVER AGAIN THAN LOSE! NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES, I HAVE TO WIN!"
