Chapter 5

The day was cold, yet silent unlike how it usually is. Shawa sat on the chair, sleeping away, "Shawa! Get up damn it! It's barely 7 o'clock! How're you sleeping this early? It's going to mess up on your sleep at night!" Rosalie yells at Shawa, waking him.

"There's just nothing to do! I mean- I've done so much that it just doesn't excite me anymore!" Shawa puts his head on the palm of his hand.

"Well that sleep can wait, you don't want to go on messaging with your sleep schedule now, do you?" Rosalie asks.

"No, of course not." Shawa says, his eyes slowly beggining to close already.

"I said to stay up!" Rosalie yells, reawakening Shawa.

"Damn it-! I just need to find something!" Shawa says, standing up.

Shawa then comes to a realization, "I know!" Shawa says, pulling out his phone, "Technology!" He raises the phone in the air as he begins to call.

The phone rings, "What is now Shawa?" Chamber answered.

"Rugby?"

"Pass. Last time we played you ended up tackling me too hard and the moon got destroyed and you had to make a whole new one!"

"Come on! I promise I won't-"

"That's what you said last time- because the time before you nearly collapsed our universe when you were passing the ball to Eli and caused the ball to rip through space and time!"

"Woops.." Shawa says, chuckling nervously, "So.."

"No." Chamber hangs up.

"Dang it! Let's see- I know! Eli!" Shawa falls Eli this time, the phone picking up.

"Yeah man?" Eli says, answering the phone.

"Trying to-"

"No, whatever it is, I can't go. Spending some time with Bella right now and you know how she is!" Eli says.

"Bella? Really now? Out of any day she chose today to spend time? Well that's just- unfortunate!" Shawa says.

"Yeah well I gotta go, goodbye." Eli hangs up.

"Okay than.. and what about.. aha! My own son, Bater!" Shawa calls Bater.

"What's up dad?"

"Come over! Can you? Come on! I'm so bored!"

"So you just call people up whenever you're bored.. don't you?" Bater says.

"Uh.. yeah."

"Well I've been bored today too, so guess I'll come over."

"Really! Really!"

"Yeah, I'm just as bored as you do might as well." Bater answers.

"What about- Candy or Marceline, they gonna come?"

"Well.. Candy's busy with work, she always is now in days, working with the business and such.. It's a shame because she barely has time for us now."

"Woah.. business than..?" Shawa says, surprised.

"Yup." Bater replies.

"They grew up so fast.. I could've sworn just a few years ago she was still a little baby!"

"Yeah they only get older y'know- anyways I'll be there!" Bater says, hanging up.

"What is it?" Rosalie asks.

"Candy's super busy they tell me.. but I'm surprised at how fast they grow! They grow up- well quick!" Shawa says.

"Well that's something, at least she'll have a job and that way she can do something- instead of being a dead beat like someone.." Rosalie side eyes Shawa.
