"How many more times... How many times have I done this? Been through this?" He found himself in another position this time.
"Glutenous... Depressed... Abandoned." The man was sitting on the chair, staring at a TV screen with static as he leans in. He switches the TV channel and it begins to change into that of a show. The show demonstrated as people are on excitement, happy and the man could think of was jealously. He wanted to be happy like so, but he didn't have it. He wanted to he happy, he wanted the money, he wanted people around him to be that way too. He had nothing, his family abandoned him and he had nothing on him to retire. He had been saving his entire life to retire only for his retirement to not even be able to retire. He was injured, and than it began his downfall of having no money and losing it all from being injured, that was the start.
The man walked into the gas station, late into the night. He had gathered the last bit of money, slowly he protrudes inside as he gathers his money, "Ticket.." He asked. The man behind the register put in the numbers the man said, as then the ticket was printed out, "Now I wait..." He says, standing there.
"Y'know it's just about too late. There's almost no way you could possibly win, the numbers show in half a hour and you just got the ticket"
"It's fine. I'll stay here, I believe I'll have won." The man replied, and he stayed there. He waited and waited, till the show finally came back on.
The numbers began to display, one by one. They slowly came out, causing more and more anxiety with each number as the man looked up and down at the ticket than the numbers. Until there it was, a perfect match.
"I did it. I did it. I- I knew it." The man says, jumping up and down repeatedly. He smiled, looking up with tears of joy in his eyes, "It matches! It matches!" The man says.
The bell of the door chimes, a man walking in.
The man continued celebrating, as he is than approached by the man who just entered the room. He points a shotgun at the man celebrating, immediately blowing his head off at a instant. The man behind the cashier is completely shocked, before he could even let out a scream he too is shot. His body demolished immediately by the shotgun, blood spraying everywhere as the two were killed right than and there.
"That was him. 0-9" He laughs, walking out of the store as if nothing had happen.
The two bodies on the ground, still moving in pain and conscious, they should be dead. But they felt everything, and they would continue to.
The man walked down the street, continuing down the dark street. He sees a woman wearing a dress, she was drunk and wobbling down the sidewalk, unable to maintain her balance.
"Hey! You!" She yells out, the man continued walking towards her, "Why do I smell shit? Is it you?" She says, slurring her words.
He approaches the woman, looking at her, "What're you doing out here?" He asked.
"I- Me? I'm just looking for a way back home! Come on, take me there!" She says, wobbling and still slurring her words.
"Home, yes I'll take you. My car is just down the street." The man says, taking the woman in with him. A car was there, he had made it appear and he opens the car door. The two enter the car and he immediately asks, "Where do you live?"
"House, street..."
"I know now." He smiles, driving towards the location.
He stops in front of the house, "Hey.. you can't leave me here in front, my dad will think you tried to kidnap me? You hear me?" She yells out.
The man steps out the car and he walks towards the woman. He grabs the woman's throat and immediately crushes it, pinning her to the ground of the car. She tries to yell but not a word was able to be vocalized, "You will die knowing that you have endangered your entire family. They will be gone." He closes the door of the car, leaving her within to bleed out.
