Chapter 40

"They're talking about it... The secret." Grey says.

"What secret?" Abram asks.

Grey turns to Abram, "You're not going to like it. But we live within a book. We are not real, only real to ourselves."

"Well. If it's real to me, than I think it's real. Right?" Abram says.

Brick is hit across the endless scape of the void and Futuri tries fighting back. Ultra grabs Futuri by her throat and immediately tries rubbing into her throat, she quickly phases through Ultra and moves back, her throat incredibly red and scarred, "What a... A grip-" she says. Suddenly being grabbed again by Ultra, even as she was actively passing through, "How- did you grab me?" Futuri says, being picked up by Ultra.

"Nothing is safe. Not you, not your friends, not your family. They've never been safe for as long as I exist." Ultra let's go of Futuri as Brick swarms in trying to attack Ultra. Ultra moving far back and looking at Brick, "Look at you! You're like a rampaging animal! You can't even hold back instinct! That's why your kind was destroyed, you were all animals! Absolute animals! I've gone back in time just to kill them all over again! Over and over again!" Ultra throws a ball of energy at Brick. Brick dodging it and leaping at Ultra.

"HOW DARE YOU!" Brick says, as he leaps head first to Ultra. Brick assaulting Ultra as he grabs Ultra's face and attempt to maul him with his bare hands. Ultra than lashing out, exploding with energy as Brick is stabbed by numerous knives of energy.

Brick screams in pain as Ultra looks down at Brick, "At this rate it's going to become your third loss already! Do you not have any sense of what I am? You know it, deep down that I am unstoppable. I have all the power!" Ultra says.

Brick grabs his face, taking out the knives made of energy and turning to see Ultra, "You are just a nuisance.. that's it. Nothing but a nuisance.. a spawn that shouldn't exist. You're a mistake... You know that?"

"The real pest here is your whole group, you may not know this. But I can kill you all at a instant if I wanted to, but I want to make you all suffer. Everyone will suffer in the end, except me. My endless pursuit of happiness will lead to my life being far greater than yours. A god doesn't worry about the future, they only worry about now! Pleasure me now, do this now, not do this later. It is always now, because a god doesn't like time. Time is the worst enemy as it is the most annoying." Ultra explains

"You're crazy.. you're absolutely insane!" Eric yells out.

"Shit! Why'd you go on and open your mouth for?" Able says, standing next to Eric.

"You.. the one I ruined the face of. You're just a monster, hideous for all of eternity! And now you'll leave the fate you all deserve! PREPARE!" Ultra yelled, a portal opening and suddenly a large canister filled with a strange liquid appeared. They all looked at the liquid, feeling fear, dread, and pain all at the same time. Their fear quicky rose as they realized what it was.

"HE'S GOING TO PUT YOU ALL IN PAIN! LIQUID PAIN! RUN!" Grey screams. They began scattering around as only Futuri and Brick stayed.

Ultra looks as Able and Eric run together, "You will be in torment, forever..." Ultra says, about to open the canister. Suddenly Futuri and Brick punching Ultra at the same exact time in both of his ribs, Ultra looking down with no effect on him, "You all deserve to be in it." He opens the canister and explodes more energy and shards of energy out that stab both Futuri and Brick. The two of them are pushed back and they see as Ultra quickly closes in on Able and Eric, both of them running away. Ultra closes in on both Able and Eric, both of them turning around as Eric tries to hit Ultra. Ultra instantly slicing Eric's hand right off his arm.
