For this chapter we interrupt the current story for a different perspective. A story from 13.8 Billion years ago. Before the Omniverse was completely destroyed.

"How long have we been firing? At that thing..." He asked, he layed down in the bed, resting but still worried.

"It's been over 1000 hours... We've been firing a continuous gamma ray at it. We don't know when to stop, we don't know what's going on with it. It's taking all of our resources, even our supply of infinite energy is not able to keep up with the firepower we're producing. And we're not being given a directive to stop, it's all silent. We're being told to continue... On and on." They replied, looking out the window.

"To think that even limitless energy has a maximum.. and we've just about reached it." He said, still laying on the bed.

The soldier than getting up from the bed, his name was Kernel. Kernel had been a soldier of the Foundation, a utopian empire that stretches across the edges of the Omniverse itself and was deemed the largest in the outer sides of the Omniverse.

Kernel gets out of his rackety bed, stepping down onto the wooden floor of the boarded up house he was within. He looks outside, through the window. He sees the massive light that covered the skies, like a giant sun in the sky. The outside was completely empty, only a barren dried up wasteland with dirt all across the ground along with many other houses stationed across this planet.

"Kernel.. Kernel.. Kernel!" Suddenly he feels the arm on his shoulder, he turns around to look at his friend.

Kernel turns, seeing now the darkness that covered the room and his friend's face being lit only by the light outside from the open shutters of the window, "Micha- what is it?"

"We got news, it's going to happen. We're fighting." Micha says.

He stops, staring at Micha for a second. He stares back outside, the light gone and grey clouds all around. The ground had turned almost black and there was not a hint of light, but everything had a grey tint to it. He heard the trumpets, blasting all around. The doors open, soldiers coming out all around.

They carried with them rifles of the future, weapons of the past, weapons treasured by families for generations. Most men carried their families weapons, the weapons decorated with engravings on the weapon. The other men like Kernel carried the standard issue weapons, enough power to completely tear a building in a second.

They step on the dirt ground, they first smelled the dirt, a wind than blew and blew away the smell. They lined up, all of them in a enormous group. Men and women scattered all around for miles of end with weapons and equipment.

"SOLDIERS! SOLDIERS! EVERYONE! EVERYONE LISTEN!" The head of the battle yelled, waving his arms around as he stood on top of a single small wooden foundation.

"Is that- the head of this planet? The command?" Kernel asks Micha.

"Yeah, it sure is. Look at him, I've always seen things about him. His force and chokehold on this planet, a resilient commander. I've never seen him like this..." Micha says. Kernel looks down at Micha, he sees him as he held his weapon, the finger already on the trigger. His hand shaking as he held his weapon, his lip quivering. Other men and woman around also seemed to have a concerning reaction, almost fear in their eyes, a blank stare, a stare of almost them trying to take in what was going on and what would happen.

"You're all no longer soldiers. From here on our, whoever fights is a hero, a legend, and ultimately a fool."

"Commander! You can't be serious? We're about to fight! We're going to a battle! Are we not? Why say this!" A man in the crowd says, as everyone else began to ultimately agree with. Heads nodding in acceptance all around.
