The next morning Taylor stirs first. As her eyes open she sees sunlight poking through the window. She turns and takes a sip of water and checks the time. 7:30. She rolls over and buried her face into Travis' armpit. He instinctively wraps his strong arm around her and sighs contently. Taylor removed herself from his armpit. "You need a shower." She giggles. Travis' eyes pop open. "What?!" He exclaims. "You're stinky. It's probably from that workout I made you do when you couldn't catch me last night." She laughs. "I do not stink. You're pulling my leg" he says as a statement but is hoping she confirms his theory. Travis has never been a morning person. So he's occasionally grumpy first thing. Taylor wakes up happy and bubbly most of the time. She usually gives him space but today she decided to seek revenge after his tickle attack last night. She jumped up out of bed and landed straddled on his waist. "Taylor Allison Swift. Are you really going to do this first thing when you wake up? Aren't you tired?" Taylor giggles and leans over and kisses his cheek. She moves and kisses his chin and nose. Travis can't help but smile a little. She crashes onto his lips and gives him a very good morning kiss. She places her hands on his chest and drums her fingers against him. Travis opens one eye and looks at her. "I can't figure you out." He jokes. He closes his eyes again and decides he's really not ready to wake up. Taylor giggles and wants to continue their playful banter like last night. She leans down to his ear just as he did the night prior and whispered to him "are you ticklish?" Travis sighs an annoyed sigh. "Come on Tay I'm really still tired, can't you see that?" He barks at her. "You need to get off of me and try and sleep." Taylor waited a moment to see if he had a hint of playfulness in his tone. He didn't. "Seriously Tay, get off of me." He said with a raised voice. Taylor's face fell. Tears immediately threatened to slip down her face. She promptly got off of him and choked out a "sorry." Before running out of the room. Crocodile tears streamed down her face. She felt so stupid for letting his morning grumpiness affect her like this. She went into the kitchen and wrote him a note saying she was going to the stadium early before her rehearsal starts to get away and give him space. She included an apology and said she'd see him later. Insinuating he didn't need to come watch her rehearsal like he normally does. Tears still falling and staining the paper. She texted her security and promptly left. When Tree picked her up, she took one look at Taylor's tear stained face and immediately felt sick. She hadn't even seen her this upset when her and Joe called it quits. Taylor filled her in on what happened. Tree (a BIG tayvis supporter) couldn't help but give a tiny smile. Taylor looked at her with furrowed brows waiting for an explanation as to why she would smile. Tree began to explain "Taylor. This is the first time in any relationship you've had where the fight was over being silly with one another. Do you realize that?" Taylor just looked at her with a softened look before more tears filled her eyes. "Well it doesn't matter now. He's going to leave me like the others did." Taylor said and turned to look out the car window as a few tears fell down her cheeks. "If he breaks up with you over a morning scuffle about being playful, he's not the one for you Tay. Although, I have a feeling by the time you get home tonight he'll be apologizing." Taylor didn't respond anymore. She really didn't think so. About an hour later Travis stirred. He flipped over and reached for Taylor. He felt the cold bed and immediately sat up. He remembered barking at the girl he loves so much who was just trying to be funny. He rubbed his eyes and called out for Taylor. Of course there was no answer. He made his way downstairs and found her note. He noticed the wrinkles in the paper that he could only assume came from tears. "Damnit Kelce." He said. He pulled his phone out and tried to call her. Immediate voicemail. He went and got ready and headed to the stadium. He arrived and immediately found Tree. She saw his worried and frantic look and her face softened towards him. "Tree please. Please tell me where she is?" She directed him toward her dressing room and he took off running. He frantically knocked on the door and entered before he could even listen for the signal to come in. He saw her curled up on the couch, still crying. Her feelings clearly stomped on and crumpled. Travis' eyes welled up at the sight of her. "Travis if you're here to end it just do it quickly." She said with her past relationship trauma shining. She wasn't even able to look at him. "Tay." Travis starts barely able to keep it together. The guilt was eating him alive. He grabbed her chin and turned her head to look at him. His heart broke into a million pieces. "Taylor I am the biggest idiot. Please don't apologize to me about anything. I was a grump and completely took it out on you. I am NOT leaving you." He pleaded with her. Taylor didn't respond mainly because she had no idea what to even say. "I am the worlds biggest dope. I didn't even realize what I was saying until I woke up an hour later. I will do literally anything to make it up to you. Please talk to me." He pleaded. Taylor turned to him- "it's okay babe. I'm just too much sometimes. I've ruined plenty of relationships for similar reasons." She said with a crack in her voice. "You are NOT too much. Don't believe that for half a second. What can I do to make you believe that? I want my smiley, adorable, playful girly back." In one swoop he picked her up and placed her on his lap. He grabbed a tissue and wiped all of her tears away and kissed her temple. She gave a half smile. "There it was!! A smile!" He exclaimed and hugged her. She was stiff as a board. Still feeling like an annoyance. Travis sighed. He didn't know what else to do to fix it. "Tay do you understand that I was kind of out of it? I didn't mean it. I love playing around with you as much as possible." Taylor looked at him and gave a small smile. "Thanks trav. I'm glad you came. I'm sorry you had to come all the way here." Travis ran his thumb over her cheek. "I'd travel across the world to make sure you're happy. Even if I'm the one that caused you to be sad." He said and kissed her passionately. Taylor let a moan escape her lips. Travis giggled. "I'm going to make it up to you!" He exclaimed. Putting his arms in the air. "Here. Tickle me now. I promise I'll do my best not to fight you off of me. I may not be as ticklish as you but I bet it'll work." He shut his eyes and braced for impact. But it never came. He opened his eyes and saw Taylor staring at him skeptical. "Taylor I'm telling you if you don't tickle me right now I'm going to have guilt for God knows how long." Taylor reaches up and grabs his hands and brings them back down. She holds his hands and kisses him. It was a long passionate make up kiss. "I'd rather get you when you least expect it." She stated smiling and winking at him. Travis groaned and threw his head back. "Nooooo." He whined. "Not a surprise attack." Taylor giggled at his childlike behavior and decided maybe she had overreacted just a little bit. "Tay your rehearsal isn't for another 8 hours. Are you really going to hang out here all day?" Travis asked. "No. I was trying to give you space. We can go home and I'll come back later. Maybe we can go home and make up." She says with a massive grin. As much as Travis wants to make up in the way she's insinuating. He's just glad her smile and sparkle is back in her eyes. He lets out one of his loud, amused laughs and agrees. "Alright then. I'd love nothing more." He winks at her and helps her gather her stuff. They make their way back to Taylor's place and once they get in he throws all of her stuff to the ground, locks the door, and picks her up. Her legs wrap around her waist and she throws her head back and laughs. "You're coming with me." He stated matter of factly. "I have no hesitations about that" she laughs. He carries her up the stairs periodically stopping to kiss her. They get to the bedroom and Travis tosses Taylor on the bed and climbs up there with her. Taylor decided now, while he's really not expecting it, she'll seek her revenge. He climbed over her, hovering. "You're beautiful. I can't believe you are who I get to love." She can feel her blush burning her cheeks. Taylor flips them so she's hovering above Travis now. She sits in the same position as this morning, straddling his waist. She leans down like she's going to kiss him but instead whispers in his ear- "payback time." Travis' mouth dropped open in shock as he tried to process what just happened. Taylor begins scribbling all over his upper body- sides, stomach, neck. But the place that illicit the best response was his ribs. Travis was definitely ticklish. Maybe not as much as taylor, but enough that his Loud booming laugh flooded Taylor's apartment. Travis decided to desperately try and not fight back like he promised earlier in the day. She deserved to seek her revenge after he made her cry. But Travis was really struggling the longer she tickled him. His laughter getting higher in volume and the urge to stop her was getting stronger and stronger. Taylor was laughing just as much as he was. "No wonder you got so grumpy with me this morning. You wouldn't expect a big strong player in the NFL to be taken down by a few tickles." Taylor said moving to his armpits. Travis immediately caved and gently yet urgently pushed her off of him. That was one place that was definitely the most ticklish. He dove at her and began tickling her back. Taylor screamed with childlike, silly laughter and squirmed trying to get away. Once Travis dug into the soft place by her hips she lost it. Muted laughter with the mixture of tiny snorts flooded the apartment. Travis stopped after a few more seconds and held his hands up in surrender with a massive grin on his face. "You are seriously the most ticklish person I've ever met. It's pretty adorable." He leaned down and gently started kissing her neck. Taylor moaned and tilted her head back. It was the best makeup she'd ever had.
