We've Got Game

The Game Night

This is my longest chapter yet and a request!!

Taylor and Travis finished showering and getting ready. They went downstairs to wait for the rest of the Kelce family to show up. "So what games are we playing?" Taylor asked. "I hadn't decided, but I did just get Taboo." Donna replied. "Oooooo me and Tay dominate at Taboo." Travis said while rubbing his hands together. "I'll dominate at any game." Taylor says matter of factly. Travis smirked. "Don't get too cocky yet, Angel." "Only stating facts." Taylor replied with a shrug and her competitive nature coming out.

Taylor's phone pinged, she looked and saw it was a message from Kylie.

Kylie: T-10 minutes until you can save me from Kelce man talk. I'm going crazy in this car ride with Jason.

Taylor: I had whipped cream squirted in my hair earlier. You can save me, too. Tell Jason to drive faster.

Kylie: I'm sure you did nothing to deserve that!

Taylor: right?! Thank you.

Kylie: T-8 minutes.

Taylor giggled at the message exchange. Her and Kylie had bonded more and more over having to each deal with a Kelce. "What are you laughing at?" Travis asked with a smile. "Nothing. Talking with Kylie." Taylor's phone dinged again.

Kylie: I'm getting the run down on how to win almost any game we play tonight. Please.Save.Me.

Taylor laughed again. "What's she saying?" Travis asked while trying to peek at tay's phone. Taylor ignored him on purpose to drive him crazy.

Taylor: well, I'm kind of on Jason's side with that. The competitive nature flows through me like a river. lol. Travis is bugging me to see what we're talking about. T-6ish minutes??

Kylie: it feels like an eternity.

Travis got a peek at the conversation and gasped. "You did nothing to deserve the whipped cream?! That's what you are talking about??" Taylor jokingly rolled her eyes. "Don't be dramatic." She responded. "That's okay, I'm remembering this." Travis said with a wink.

When the Kelce family arrived the little girls ran inside and gave everyone hugs before running off to go play in Donna's massive playroom. Taylor quickly greeted Jason and then grabbed Kylie's hand and pulled her away to the formal living room. Donna watched the two girls going away together and smiled so happy everyone was getting along. Kylie turned to Donna and yelled out: "are you coming with us girls or what?!" Donna couldn't hide her giddy excitement when invited to go with her daughter-in-law and prospect. She immediately followed them. Taylor and Kylie slouched and sunk down into the couch and relaxed. Donna entered the room and laughed. "They are a bit much aren't they?" Kylie and Taylor just laid back in the couch for a few moments and just nodded their heads. Kylie let out a chuckle and Donna and Taylor turned to her. "What's funny?" Taylor asked with a lighthearted smile. "I dread playing a game tonight with competitive Jason and apparently competitive 2.0 over here." She said pointing at Taylor with her thumb. Taylor mocked a shocked face. "Kylie! How dare you speak ill of a good family fun competitive game night!!" She said and gently smacked the side of her leg. "Maybe you and Jason should be on a team." Kylie added. "If it means I'll win I'll play with anyone." Taylor laughed. Donna and Kylie exchanged a playful smirk. "A lot of talk for a newbie to game night." Kylie continued the playful banter. "You sound like you lose a lot, I don't want to be on your team." Taylor shot back. "You sound like someone could rattle you pretty easily." Kylie said making her eyebrows move up and down. "What do you mean?" Taylor asked with a chuckle. "Donna and Travis both talk about how easily you blush and crumble over teasing words. I bet the whole family fixates on that tonight. That competing, winning demeanor will crumble here soon." Kylie stated in a joking way. Taylor turned to Donna in mock horror and placed her hand on her chest. "You told her that???" Taylor couldn't hide her playful smile. Donna chuckled at the two girls before her. "Alright five year olds, let's go start game night before a war breaks out between us girls." She said with a wink and left the room. Kylie and Taylor laid on the couch laughing at their silly, childlike banter.
