Blueberry- Lando Norris

Part 21

   Summer has passed and the season has begun again. With each race Lando was getting closer to becoming World Champion. The last race, Abu Dhabi, the one that will decide who is the World champion. Lena and I watch the race from Lando's garage. Max is in the pole and Lando P3. The race begins, with Lando managing to reach P2.

    After a few laps my phone starts ringing so I go outside to answer it. I hear an altered voice.
 

   "Sahra Oprea. Now exit the paddock and enter the red car in front. If you don't listen to what I just said, then don't freak out if you hear screams, and your dear sister won't be so...receptive anymore." My heart starts pounding. I can tell someone with a gun is inside. I am cornered and forced into a dangerous game. "I'm coming, but if anything happens to my sister..." "Your sister will be safe as long as you cooperate." I hang up and head for the exit. As I was told in front a car is waiting for me. "Hi, Valtor" "Hi, Blueberry? Did I say that right?" Suddenly I pull a knife out of my right boot and threaten Valtor. "You haven't changed, Lexa." "You're wrong, Valtor. Lexa died many years ago, as did her past." I start cutting it. "I love you, Lexa. I always did it. Hope you'll see that one day."  "Maybe for you I was always a little girl to have fun with, but I'm not stupid. I've learned that when you're in a difficult situation, it's important to make it even more difficult."

    Suddenly the police surround the car. Their leader enters  in the front seat, right next to Valtor. "Thank you Sahra for calling us, but also for the courage to enter here. We're taking it over now." "I thank you for being able to come so quickly."

    When I get out of the car, I run back to Lando's garage to watch the race. When I get there I see that it's already over and everyone is boarded up. When I got out, the race was still going on, and now it's all over. Everything has been decided. I go out to the pit lane and see champagne flying from the place of the premiere. I take advantage again of the fact that I am Stefan's daughter and go to the place where they will get off the podium. I see Lando come down and hug him. I don't know how it ended, but I know how I want to end this season. "Where have you been? I looked for you, but you weren't there. Lena didn't know anything." "Valtor called me. He wanted us to leave together, but I made sure he got where he belonged. I'm sorry I missed the ending, but I just wanted to know it won't bother us ever again."

"Blueberry, I won!" I am speechless. I didn't expect him to give me this news if he didn't say anything until now. "Love, this is incredible! "I jump into his arms and kiss him. "Love, come with me" I don't give him a chance to answer. I take his hand and lead him into Dad's office, where Lena, Oscar, Dad, Lando's dad, and Zak are waiting for us. Everyone congratulates Lando, and Lena helps me get some glasses and a bottle of champagne.

    "Cheers to Lando's win!" I say happily. "So" I begin full of emotions. "I asked you to come here because I have something important to say." Lando was looking at me worriedly, and I was in tears of emotion. "Blueberry, why are you crying? " "Of happiness. Guys, I'm pregnant!" Everyone's smiles grow, and Lando pulls me into his arms. I start to cry even harder. I'm in the arms of the one I love, the one I could only dream of a moment ago. Lando makes me happy, we've been through a lot together and I happily say we're ready to go through more.
