"How was that?" Roger called.
"Freddie?" Deaky asked, dreading hearing another 'again' from Fred.
"Higher."
"Can you go a bit higher?"
"If i go any higher only dogs will hear me." He groaned.
"Try." Freddie said.
"Freddie's note, sorry."
Roger sighed. "Go on, roll the tape."
He went again.
"How was that? Better?"
"Higher." Freddie said, again.
"Jesus how many more 'Galileo's do you want?" Roger asked.
"Freddie wants to do a few more overdubs?"
"Do we even have any tape left?"
"I do have to say, the tape is wearing out, it can't take much more." Deaky replied, more to Freddie than Roger.
"Yeah we can't afford much more," Brian added. "We're already what, like, three weeks over schedule."
They did it many, many, more times, and Roger complained between every single take.
"Who even is Galileo?"
"My nuts feel like they're in my chest right now, are we done?""Thats it," Deaky said. "He loves you."
They recorded a few more lines, Hyacinth going in with Roger to help, before soon enough all five of them were in there recording operatic lines.
As they came to last take Hyacinth stumbled and fell, and Roger's attempt to catch her just took him down with him, leading to Brian stumbled back, and Freddie and Deaky knocking over the last two remaining boards.
They all sat back in the studio and listend to the track, fully completed.
Everyone was proud of themselves.
"This could be our single." Brian suggested.
"This will be our single." Freddie nodded.
They all agreed on it and went back to their rooms to start packing, the album was finally finished.
"You know it actually wasn't that bad sharing a room with you." Roger stated, closing his suitcase, but turning around to be met with Hyacinths clothes all over her side of the room. "Need some help?"
"Yes! please." She sighed, and he gave her a smirk before making his way over.
"How does one person have so many clothes?"
"I have amazing fashion sense."
"Alright, sure you do." He laughs, and before she had a chance to object he spoke again. "Come push the top down to this suitcase, i can't get it shut."
She came over and sat on top of it, earning a look from Roger, but he then just shook his head and got to closing it.
They took all their stuff down stairs, and by that i mean Roger carried all of both his and Hyacinths bags, while she by out the window, reading over her songbook.
When Roger came in to get her she didn't notice him at first, so he came over and stood behind her, reading the lyrics from over her shoulder.
"Heavy metal love of mine?"
She slammed the book shut and put out her cig.
"Are we leaving?"
"What song was that?"
"One that's not in the album." She said as she walked past him and stood by the door. "Are you coming?"
He nodded but has a confused look on his face, wondering why she was being so secretive about her songs - especially considering they were in the same band.
On the way back the two of them sat in the back with Deaky, Hyacinth falling asleep on Rogers shoulder with one leg over his and his hand resting on her thigh.
