Freddie woke up the next morning with many packages at his door, as always, but there was one that stuck out to him.

"Born to Die." He muttered, reading the name on the record cover as he took it out of the box.

Freddie immediately went to the nearest record player he could find and sat down with a bottle of red wine and a pack of cigarettes, listening to the entirety of the album in silence.

Once he got to the end of the last song he had shed a couple tears, and made his way to the phone to call Hyacinth, but decided against it due to last nights incident.

Just as he walked out of the door it started to ring.

He rushed over and was more than pleased to hear the voice of the new lead singer of Queen.

"What do you think?" Hyacinth asked nervously.

"I love it." He laughed.

"I was hoping you would."

"i like track 6 the best."

"Good, you should, it's about you after all." She admitted.

"You wrote a song about me?" Freddie gasped.

"I might've." She giggled as he shed a couple more tears and sniffed.

"Are you crying? oh love." cynth sighs, but before they could say anything else Roger walked through the door.

"is that freddie?" He asked, his smile quickly fading.

Although he said he was okay with her talking to Fred, he still held a grudge for leaving the band.

"it's my mother."

"Right, sorry, i'll give you a minute." He muttered and stumbled out the room, feeling bad for assuming things.

"Look Fred i've gotta go." She whispered.

"i know, i think it might be best we don't talk for a while."

"Are you sure?"

"i need to finish this album, you go focus on Queen without me." He forced himself to say this, fighting the urge to beg for them to let him back in the band.

"Well i'm missing one of my queens." she laughed, which only made it harder for him.

"i'll be back soon, don't worry love."

"promise?"

"i promise, can't get rid of me that easily."
