They got home around midnight, only after stopping for ice cream, and then donuts, and then milkshakes, and then candy floss.

But when they were finally back in London, Hyacinth wasted no time in telling her fiancé all about her plans for the wedding, all of which he was on board with.

And then, three months later, it was the wedding day.

Hyacinth's dress was a diamond-covered corset type top, with a big poofy skirt that had gems scattered over it, along with a long veil, also with sparkly details, and the dainty but eye catching tiara atop of her perfectly curled hair, in the half up half down beehive style that she adored.

Roger was in a slightly basic tux, as all men are on their wedding day. But he had his tie loosened and a couple buttons undone. Which wasn't so bad considering it took Brian and Deaky holding him down while Freddie put the tie on just to get him to wear it. He had his hair in the perfectly messy style that Hyacinth loved.

And, neither of them were stood at the altar drunk, or holding a cigarette. The second of which was a very rare sight.

Though Roger did have a pack of cigs in his blazer pocket.. and Hyacinth had a flash shoved into her waistband.

Thankfully, her mother noticed it while walking down the aisle and confiscated it before anyone else could see (although it is peeking out in the pictures of her walking down the aisle).

Freddie was her maid of honour, and Roger had two best men, Brian and Deaky - who were more of bridesmaids, considering they had been helping her get into her dress and fixed her veil for her many times throughout the day.

And when it was finally time for the actual ceremony, it was beautiful.

They were in a small church in a small town in Italy - where Hyacinth had spent many summers during her adolescence - with only close friends and immediate family.. and Freddie's cats.
