It's the next day after Steve asks Evie to marry him.
They lay intertwined with each other, just enjoying each other when Steve's phone rings and disturbs them both.

"This better be important." Evie grumbles.

Steve groans as he reaches for his phone.

It's Chin.

Steve answers, chin tells him about the new OD case they have and that the person that OD'ED was just a sixteen year old kid.

"We are on our way." Steve says, as Evie groans at hearing that, she throws a pillow over her head trying to go back to sleep.

Once Steve hangs up from Chin, he tells Evie.

"Another OD, this one a sixteen year old boy." Steve explains, that gets Evie to jump into action.

"Same bad batch?" She asks because there's been a bad batch of drugs on the island for a while according to Steve and the guys.

"I would assume so." Steve says as he pulls on his tan cargo pants  and a tight blue T-Shirt.

Evie puts on a navy blue tank top and wash out Jean shorts, As well as army boots as well as her aviators.

"Lets go." Steve says as Evie clips her gun and badge to her shorts.

"Do you want me to wear my ring?" She asks before he leaves the room.

"Of course." Is all Steve says before he heads down the steps.

Evie smiles fondly after her fiancé. She still can't believe that Steve asked her to marry him. She admires her ring for a second and a part of her wishes that she could call bobby and Athena and tell them the news, but unfortunately she's to afraid to..

She rushes out to the truck after locking up and they drive to the palace.

Steve notices how quiet she is and he asks . "What's wrong angel?"

"Nothing." Evie says with a small sigh as he gives her his "I'm not buying it." Look she says "I just wish I wasn't so afraid to call Bobby and Athena and let them know what's going on, that we are engaged and I'm happy."

"Well, when you're ready they will still be there and you can tell them but don't rush it ok?" Steve says as he pulls into the palace, she nods and they kiss tenderly after he parks the truck.

They head up to five 0 head quarters.

"Bout time you two show up." Danny says with crossed arms.
Steve rolls his eyes at Danny as Evie moves a piece of her hair away from her face with her left hand, when the sun catches the diamond in the sunlight it sparkles causing everyone's attention to fall onto her.

"You're engaged?" Danny asks.

"Yea we are." Steve says with a loving smile, as he pulls Evie into his side and kisses her hair.

"Congratulations, you two." Chin says hugging them both.

"So happy for you boss." Kono says hugging them as well.

"Well I never thought I'd see the day that you'd actually start to settle down. Maybe now you will stop being so reckless?" Danny says and asks as he hugs his best friend and Evie.

"Really though I'm happy for you. You must be crazy though to agree to marry him." Danny says, gaining a chuckle from everyone as Steve says "really? Danno she's not crazy." Steve glaring at his best friend.
