A helpless brothers predicament

Sonic sat quietly in his bed, it had been about a week since the last experiment on him and his leg was by now healed up fully, but all three thought it was strange that everything was quiet for this long, though they enjoyed the peace and quiet without any of them having to be dragged back to testing.

"I wonder what is going on." Silver wondered aloud, his ear up against the door trying to see if he could hear anything.

"I don't know." Sonic sighed, looking at Shadow who was laying on his own bed staring up at the ceiling.

"Well whatever it is I have a bad feeling about it." Silver said, stepping away from the door.

"Yeah." Shadow agreed.

Sonic nodded slowly. "I have a worse feeling.." he murmured.

There was a long stretch of silence, all three stuck in their own thoughts till the door suddenly opened and a robot marched in, the robot turned towards Sonic and grabbed him by the arm with a metal hand and dragged him out of the cell, there right outside in the hall stood Infinite.

Sonic pushed back against the robot as Infinite walked slowly closer, he flinched back as Infinite reached out a clawed finger and pressed it lightly under Sonic's chin causing him to look up at him.

"Honestly it is a shame it had to come down to this," Infinite said, then pressed the claw a bit harder making Sonic tense in fear. "But so worth the time."

Sonic gulped and tried his hardest to fight the urge to attack, but the urge was so strong. Infinite then released him satisfied with the fact that Sonic feared him and dared not fight. Sonic looked back at Shadow and Silver worriedly before the door closed and he was then taken away.

Fifteen minutes passed before two robots came in and dragged Shadow and Silver out of the cell and down the halls, they both cast worried looks at each other as they were marched to the testing room, when they got there they saw Eggman near a control panel making sure everything was in check, suddenly they were shoved forward but they quickly regained their balance before they could hit the floor.

"Glad you could join us." Eggman said, turning to look at the two.

Shadow and Silver scowled at Eggman but a movement caught their eyes and they turned to see Sonic attached to a machine with a distressed expression on his face, both Silver and Shadow tried to get to their brother who was caught in some sort of metal ring that was attached to two metal pole type things keeping it in place, and Sonic's arms and legs away from each other clasped to the ring so he couldn't make any move to escape. Infinite and Mephiles then showed up and pulled Shadow and Silver back and kept them in place.

"What are you doing?" Shadow demanded, staring at Eggman.

"Oh it's simple really," Eggman replied. "You see your brother doesn't wield any special abilities like the two of you, all he can do is run and that alone isn't very useful for what I want. So he is now going to serve the only purpose he has left." he explained then with an evil smile he flipped a small switch on the control panel.

Sonic, who was tugging effortlessly to get his limbs free, suddenly stopped and stared at them as the machine he was stuck in made a small rumbling sound as it started up. Suddenly something wrapped around his arms and legs and he looked to see they were energy rope things that gave off a faint electric glow, Sonic's face suddenly changed from worry to fearfully panicked as the energy wires wrapped a bit tighter and started to change from a very faint greenish blue color to a deeper blue and it seemed to let of little streaks of bluish light kind of like baby lightning. Sonic hissed in pain as he realized the rope wires were draining something from him, he tried to keep his pain hidden as the wires continued and they glowed and even more.
