Tree had to leave soon after. They hugged for a few seconds, Tree squeezing Taylor tightly and the blonde gripping onto her – desperate to show she didn't want to be here. As she pulled away, Taylor gripped onto Tree's hands "Please – let me come home, you've made your point, I promise I'll be good – I'll try my hardest. I wont lie anymore. Please."

Tree kissed her head gently "this isn't about you being good or bad. This is about you needing help. When you're well, you can come home. Until then – you need to let everyone help you"

Walking out and leaving her there was one of the hardest things Tree had done, she climbed back into her car and sobbed. Quickly dialling Andrea and catching her up on the visit.

Once Tree had left, Taylor went straight back into the panicked child mode she had been stuck in. Her stomach felt full and heavy with the water after having nothing in it for days. If she was able to think logically Taylor would have known it was no big deal, but in her panic she became paranoid there had been something in the water. She became restless – trying to exercise off the imaginary calories she had ingested. When the nurse came back in with lunch, Taylor point blank refused to eat or drink anything again – convinced they had tricked her with the water.

At dinner she couldn't bring herself to eat either, her stomach was hurting so badly, she knew it was from lack of food, but in her malnourished state she was convinced the water was not only laced with calories – but some sort of poison. She spoke to the doctor "I need to speak to Tree"

He narrowed his eyes "you saw her earlier"

Taylor sighed, not wanting to admit the redhead had drunk the water in case they made her have more "I need to know she's ok! Something might have happened to her! I need to speak to her!"

The doctor refused to let her do it – not knowing why she wanted to speak to her but knowing it was due to some irrational fear. Taylor became frantic, getting more and more distressed. Eventually after another hour of crying and pacing they decided to intervene – sedating the blonde and inserting an IV while she was asleep to rehydrate her.

The next morning, when Tree arrived at the hospital – Taylor was already on her second bag of fluids. When the doctor pulled her to one side, telling her what they had done Tree was furious they hadn't consulted her but she also knew, deep down it was in the blonde's best interests so she didn't say anything.

She went into Taylor's room "Hi sweetheart!"

Taylor looked up, her eyes sad "Hey, I feel groggy"

Tree moved closer "Yeah I bet. Do you feel more rested though?"

Taylor shrugged "I guess..."

Tree noticed she had the IV tube bunched in her other hand – kinking it so it couldn't run through. The doctor came in at that exact moment so Tree pointed out what she saw. The doctor frowned, untangling the tubing "Taylor if you continue to bend the tube, to try and stop it going in – we WILL restrain your hands" Taylor nodded, resting her hand under the blanket. The doctor turned around "I'll give you 10 minutes, then it's breakfast"

Tree and Taylor sat talking for the next 10 minutes, catching up with everything going on in the world. Tree noticed Taylor was fiddling with her hands nervously under the blankets. She moved over, putting a hand over the blanket, on top of Taylor's – she flinched slightly when she realised the blanket was wet. Taylor's eyes widened in terror "No..."

Tree pulled the blanket off quickly, realising that Taylor had disconnected the IV under the blanket – desperate to stop the sugary liquid dripping into her.
