As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the tranquil waters of Prabhaas. Dismounting their chariot with purposeful strides, Krishna and Balram made their way towards the ocean, feeling the soft sand beneath their feet. Birds soared above, their calls blending with the gentle rustle of the waves.
The ocean stretched out before them, a vast expanse of shimmering blue beneath the darkening sky. The waves rolled in with a rhythmic cadence. The salty breeze carried the scent of the sea.
Krishna and Balram settled on the shore, their silhouettes outlined by the fading light. They sat in reverent silence, their eyes fixed on the horizon where the waters met the sky. Suddenly, the once gentle waves began to rise and crash against the rocks with a fierce intensity.
The sound of the roaring ocean filled the air, drowning out all other noise. The waves grew more restless, rising higher and higher. The salty spray filled the air, mingling with the cool breeze that rustled their garments.
Suddenly, amidst the tumultuous waters, Varundev, emerged, his form radiant and majestic. His presence filled the air with a sense of reverence and awe. Varun's eyes met Krishna and Balram's, and a delighted smile crossed his lips.
"Sarveshwar ! Tribhuvan-swami ! Shripati ! Swagat hai aapka." Varun said.
With a graceful motion, he raised his hands, and a shower of fragrant flowers cascaded down upon Krishna and Balram, an offering of honor and respect. The flowers, in hues of vibrant reds, pinks, and yellows, adorned the brothers like a colorful blanket, their sweet scent mingling with the salty breeze.
"Das ke liye kya aadesh hai, prabhu ?" Varun asked with joined hands.
Krishna commanded, "Mere Guru Sandipani ke putra ko wapas de Varun. Jisko aapki lehro ne varsho pehle apne andar sama liya tha."
Varun frowned and bowed his head, "Kshama prabhu. Kintu maine aapke Guru ke putra ko bandhi nahi banaya hai. Woh koi aur hai."
"Kaun hai woh ?" Balram asked.
Varun said, "Panchajana namak ek daitya. Woh ek shankh ke roop mei samudra mei vicharan karta hai. Awashya usi ne aapke Guru ke putra ka haran kiya hai."
"Toh mujhe samudra mei pravesh karne de." Krishna said and turned to Balram, "Aap yahi meri pratiksha kare."
With determination in his eyes, he took a deep breath and without hesitation, he leaped into the shimmering waters. Balram watched from the shore, his heart heavy with worry for his brother. The water enveloped Krishna, surrounding him in its embrace as he descended into the depths, his form disappearing beneath the surface.
His divine form shimmered with a radiant light, illuminating the dark depths around him. With each powerful stroke, he descended deeper into the unknown abyss, unfazed by the vast expanse of the ocean. As he navigated through the underwater world, schools of colorful fish darted around him, curious about the divine being in their midst.
Suddenly, a figure emerged from the darkness, pale and almost ethereal, with a mighty conch shell adorning his chest. Krishna's eyes narrowed as he faced the formidable foe before him. With a thunderous roar, Panchjana lunged at Krishna, his monstrous form towering over the determined deity. However with a graceful twist of his body, Krishna dodged Panchjana's vicious attack, moving with the fluidity of a serpent in the water.
In a swift and calculated move, he plunged his fingers into Panchjana's belly, tearing through the thick hide with an otherworldly force. The Daitya howled in agony as Krishna's fierce resolve shattered his malevolent presence.
As Panchjana fell, a conch shell glinted on its chest, a symbol of its power. Krishna reached for it, a victorious smile on his face as he retrieved the sacred treasure. Krishna's eyes scanned the depths, searching in vain for the son of his Guru. Unable to find him, Krishna began his ascent, the water swirling around him like a cloak. He knew he had to look at some other place.
Krishna emerged from the waters, his hair dripping with water, his chest heaving and his eyes filled with determination. He held the Panchjanya Shankh in his hands, as he walked towards Balram.
"Tum sakushal toh ho ?" Balram asked.
Krishna smiled, "Mujhe kya ho sakta hai ?"
"Guruputra tumhe nahi mila ?" Balram asked.
Krishna shook his head, "Hume ab Samyamani jana hoga. Waha woh awashya mil jaayega."
Confusion flickered across Balram's face as he questioned, "Samyamani ?"
"Yamraj ki Rajdhani." Krishna answered.

A/NTo those who are wondering ki Panchajanya toh Vishnu Bhagwaan ka shankh tha, Shatrughan avatar tha fir daitya kaise ban gaya.....
Well Bhagwatam mei itna likha nahi kuch iske baare mei. But perhaps jis prakar Sudarshan Chakra became Kartivirya Arjun, and then turned arrogant, something like that could've happened. Not sure though, this is just a speculation.
