A few days later, the Vytal Tournament...

In one of the dorms used for holding students from other academies, 2 "students" are sitting on their respective beds. One is a fair skinned woman with black hair and amber eyes, while the other girl is pale with fluffy black hair that fades to a dark red at the ends. She's wearing a black leather jacket, dark blue jeans and brown sneakers. Her most notable features are her silver eyes that look more grey then silver, and that she only has a right arm.

"Everything has been set. Every single one of us have done our parts...now it's your turn." The amber eyed woman says, holding a tablet in her hands. She places it on the lap of the one armed girl.

"...what am I doing with this?" The one armed girl asks in a deadpan voice.

The one armed girl sounds and looks just a bit too old to be a student here, while the other girl looks like a senior. Little does the world know what they truly are.

"Simple." The amber eyed woman smirks and stands off her bed. "During the dance, I broke into the CCT and placed our..."little virus". Throughout the tournament, we want two things. To stay as discreet as possible while still participating, and generate as much negativity and hostility as possible. The easiest way of doing that...is to rig the matches in our favor."

Cinder Fall is one evil woman. Working for some master of hers that only her underlings, Mercury and Emerald, know of. Not even her other associates know who she really works for. As far as the world knows, she is her own boss, her own leader.

"Stay here with the tablet. You could easily pass as injured and healing with that missing arm of yours. I will message you through our scrolls to give you the signal to change a matchup."

Cinder stands up from her bed and walks to the door. She grabs the door handle but stops for a moment. She turns her head and looks back at the girl. "And, do your best to find information on Atlas or anyone here that can assist us."

With that final message, Cinder leaves the one armed woman alone with the tablet full of Atlas information and the match randomizer.

She puts the tablet down and runs a hand through her long fluffy hair. She's stressed, annoyed, and angry.

"...They'll be fine. They're strong."

Walker POV:

"Does anything in this damn ship work?!"

I angrily shut the computer off in my quarters and groan, rubbing my forehead with my gloved hand. My face feels warm but it's artificial. Every damn bit of it.

If someone were to ask me if I wanted this operation one more time...I'd liquidate them on the spot.

{IS THERE A PROBLEM SIR?} I hear a slightly staticky voice

"...No Sai, I'm okay."

Sai. My personal AI. A blessing and...not really a curse. I might be frustrated out of my mind but I could never call my AI a hindrance. Her, Winter, the General and Penny have all kept me grounded. I wish I could say Penny can relate to me, but she was never human to begin with. I was. This whole thing is the world's greatest out of body magic trick ever pulled off...but it'll never end.
