You look around. The bar seen was never your thing, so you feel a little uncomfortable being here. While.looking around you hear a voice behind.

"Y/N, over here!" You turn and realize that it's Elliott. You're grateful for the familiar face, even if you two just meet not long ago. You walk over to his table. He's also drinking wine and he has a friend with him. She has her ginger hair in a braid that was drapes over her shoulder. She looks like she had clay or something stuck to her clothes.

"Y/N. This is Leah, one of my close friends I have here in the valley." Leah blushes a little at Elliott's comment. "She lives by the river in Cindersap forest."

"Oh, do you live in that cabin south of Marine's ranch?" You ask

"I do! I love it there. It's so peaceful and quiet away from everyone. I can do my sculpting in peace."

"You're an artist!?" You exclaim. Leah looks happy but a little embarrassed to admit it.

"Yes, I am. I like to crave wood a lot. Sometimes I experiment with clay, if you can't tell by my clothes." She says lightly laughing, looking down at her shirt.

"I think you found a fitting friend for yourself Elliott. Do you ever feel inspired while talking to Leah?"

Elliott blushes. "I will admit, I do sometimes." You smile.

"Well, I must admit, I-I used to be an artist." You say, kinda quietly.

"Oh, why do you say that you used to be an artist Y/N?" Elliott wondered.

"I haven't done art in years sadly. I used to paint a lot but I don't even remember the last time I picked up a brush." You say sadly. You take a drink of your wine. Emily was right, this is really good.

"That doesn't make you any less of an artist Y/N!" exclaimed Leah.

"R-really?" You say surprised.

"Of course. You'll always be an artist. You're just taking a nice hiatus from it right now."

"Leah is right. Maybe you lost your creative from living in the city." Elliot said kindly.

"Who knows, you guys might be right. I haven't had a chance in scenery in many many years. It would be nice to pick up a paintbrush again sometime."

"Well, whenever you're ready, stop by my cabin. I have spare paintbrushes and paint you can have when you're ready." You looked at Leah with excited grateful eyes.

"Thanks Leah. That means a lot to me."

"It's not a problem Y/N." She says smiling at you.

You talk for a few minutes more with Leah and Elliot before you say your goodbyes to go mingle with someone else. You thought about saying hi to an older looking lady at the bar with blonde hair, but she seemed a bit too drunk to have a conversation. As you look around, you spot what you think is a familiar face. Marnie? You wonder to yourself. You make your way over to her. She was talking to Lewis when he said his goodbyes to her and left the saloon. She watched him leave with longing eyes. You wondered if they had something going on between them. You walk up to her.

"Um, hi. You're Marnie right?" You shyly ask. She turns to you startled. She hadn't noticed you approach her table.

"Indeed I am dear." She says looking at you. She studies you for a moment. "Oh my Yoba! Y/N! I haven't seen you since you was little!" She exclaims with a big smile. "I thought some random person had taken over the old farm because I haven't heard anyone say your name around here. That Lewis, he should have told me it was you!" You chuckle at her comment.
